We had taken our barely 2-year-old daughter here a few times in the past month & everything had been fine. Our latest experience though, has guaranteed that we will NEVER return. We'd had a long, particularly hard day & decided to bring some joy to our sweet, little girl by taking her to Jump Time. I was well aware that they close at 8pm when we walked up to the front desk at 7:10 & I was more than happy to pay the 1-hour kids jump rate to just get 45 minutes. Somehow that does not matter to them & we were told that we couldn't purchase jump time for our 2-year-old because apparently there's a purchase cutoff at 7:05. This ridiculous cutoff time is NOT DISCLOSED ANYWHERE on their website or in their Google info. Their excuse for this cutoff time is that they've had problems with people purchasing 1-hour passes within an hour of closing who then refuse to leave at closing time. First of all, we're talking about a little 2-year-old here. And for the second point, that is seriously one of the lamest excuses for a bogus policy I've ever heard & it becomes even more insulting when you have a supervisor lying to your face about how there's nothing they can do because the system won't let them purchase a ticket for us even if they wanted to. Yeah, I've worked in the customer service industry for more than long enough to know that that's a load of bull. The supervisor lady was rude & talked down to us like we were trying to pull something when all we wanted was for our 2-year-old girl to have some fun & jump for 45 minutes. It definitely takes a special sort of person to be able to deny that to a sweet, little kid. Easily one of the worst "customer service" experiences I've ever had. NEVER EVER AGAIN!
This experience was so upsetting that since I posted my original review the other day a lot more has come to mind about our horrible experience here. In response, to their whole, "We're at the mercy of the system," excuse, I offered up cash so they could put the ticket purchase in the next day which clearly threw them for loop because, as I already knew, their ridiculous policy has nothing to do with the system & everything to do with them just wanting to leave work early. I could understand turning people away at 7:30 but what kind of joke of a business turns people away 50 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME. And then, when we expressed our displeasure for this ridiculous policy, the girl at the front desk went to talk to the supervisor whom couldn't be bothered to come talk to us herself. At this point, our daughter is crying while we try to exit the building because she knows what we were there for, so my husband said, "This is wrong, she just wants to jump," & took her back in & let her proceed playing in the kids area. The supervisor, who'd been "too busy" just a few minutes before to bother talking to us, then devoted ALL of her attention, time & energy to ruining 45 minutes of fun for a 2-year-old little girl. We are not those people who go places & cause scenes or try to get special treatment or attempt to get out of paying. All we were asking for was to let our sweet, 2-year-old little girl jump & play for 45 minutes & we were treated like total garbage for that. The supervisor's behavior & that of the rest of the staff was truly shocking to say the very least. I've had some bad customer service experiences in my life but this was by far the worst...
Read moreWe booked our party at Jump Time. Our party host, Hannah, did the best she could. She was nice, friendly enough. She was trying to take care of our large party (23 kids), cook our pizza, refill our sodas, get our waters, and run the check in station (and who knows what else I didn't see her working on) all at the same time. Luckily we were the only party there. Due to her having multiple jobs besides our party (not her fault, that's a staffing issue), she wasn't around much. We had to track her down a couple of times for missing waters or refills (again, not her fault that she had too much to do by herself).
I had reserved the party with the colors "black and red" on the request form. I was never informed that they couldn't do that. We got there and we had GREEN. Not even close to the colors my son wanted. They knew the party was going to be larger (I had even called the day prior as we had even more respond yes), they never once stated that they didn't have a room/table big enough for all of our guests. We had to put some of the kids on a round table down farther away from the party, the few adults that were there had to stand - there was ZERO room to attempt to sit.
The girl that was taking care of our bill (not Hannah), was NOT nice and was actually fairly rude. Her snotty/better than you attitude and demeanor makes me want to never go back.
The party itself is fairly expensive, the food is decent, I ordered the party favors (which were actually reasonably priced for what they put in there)... I did get charged the full amount for two of the guests that were under 5 (they were 1 and 4, obviously not 6 or older). Apparently if they're part of the party, you still get to pay $25 for them as well - even though the price list states different.
Based on our experience (other than Hannah), we won't be booking with Jump...
Read moreWe used to go weekly and never had a bad experience. Tonight we went and one of the three girls working was absolutely horrid to us. I had my 4 year old and 1 year old with me. I was told I needed to pay $6 for my 1 year old to quite literally just walk around with me because he is too small to play with the climbing toys or the kids bounce houses. The only toy he could play with is the interactive projector and I was informed that they couldn't turn it on by this employee, the manager on duty then informed me she couldn't refund me and offered that my daughter could play in the lazer game (Which she played in for a total of 3 minutes because the dark freaked her out so was a pointless "trade off"). The same girl from before then ran the vacuum around our table on and off, pretty much the entire time we were there. (From 6-8) As we were loading up we had to make a couple trips as we had been celebrating a birthday party and we were then locked out of the building at 7:35 with our children still playing inside. (Closing time is 8:00pm) I then told the employee it was unsafe to do this and lots of parents have multiple kids and will most likely need to come in and out. She rolled her eyes at me and was snobby when I asked for the district managers information. She provided me with a card that just rings back to the phone inside, and an email address I'm sure will probably go unanswered as well. I was informed the District Manager wouldn't be in until Saturday at the earliest and that was the soonest I could speak with her. Beyond unhappy with our experience and most likely won't be returning. Also will publish this review on their Facebook page so it...
