Libraries, what comes to your mind when you hear that word.. I don't know about you, but for me, it definitely brings to mind old musty books down some dark book line shelves..sounds familiar..Well not Meridian Library as you can tell it's full of natural beauty and all kinds of nooks and corner that that just seem to draw you in to spend a little time with us..Let's not forget the beautiful area that's set up for children..they will want to spend hours just trying to find that one perfect book to read. So if you haven't been in a while..or even if you have..why not go back and dust that Library card off..chances are you'll find like I did that it's expired anyway and it's time to renew it anyway..so while your there check out all the new changes and improvements and for goodness sake read a book...

Only wish for more interactive areas for kids and interactive things to check out. Vicksburg, where we just moved from, had clear containers to check out, that had puzzles, toy kitchen foods, creative play items like rods and spools to connect, magnetic tiles, etc. Great alternatives to check out. But we're grateful for our local meridian...
