Temple Theater for the Performing Arts — Attraction in Meridian

Went to the Newsboys with grandson. Small venue but nice acoustics. We sat mid floor center. I agree with the bathrooms. The one I went in had water from either the base of the toilet or the water source....good 1/8 inch covering the floor of the stall. Popcorn was okay..I ate it. Seating was comfortable. Okay location. I was not sure where to park. I parked in a service station lot across from the theater but I did see folks coming from a parking garage across the other street. Good experience (except for batheoom). Concessions and vendor t-shirts is crammed in the front lobby right as you ck e through the vestibule. Bathrooms are also on that front wall so very crowded and can get bottle necked with everyone going to different destinations all in the same area. Would go back to see a band. I rated it a 4 as I went to see the band...that part of the accommodation was appropriate...

I have been here several times. I enjoy this little theater that brings back an image of forgotten time from when it was built. I have enjoyed several concerts here and even had my high school graduation held here years ago. It needs updating, especially in the restrooms, and the staff are poorly trained in the consession stand. One lady was so flustered by the credit card machine that it was actually slowing the process down. I would be happy to come in and assist with training and rearranging some stuff to help this theater improve on areas, as developing rural business is...

Wonderful time with friends at the Most Incredible Christmas Ballet production! The show was amazing, the theater is so fascinating it makes for a great experience. We got concessions which were reasonably priced for the event.

The theater is getting old and unfortunately the womens bathroom was in rough shape with water on the floor in one of the stalls. That's the only reason for not giving five stars.

I hope the community can continue to support the theater to keep it running and be profitable to make the much needed updates to...
