In May, 2019, I purchased three bedroom sets from Rooms To Go the Mesquite, TX location. I waited three weeks for them to deliver the furniture. When the furniture arrived one of the bedroom sets had a crack in the lower part of the headboard. The delivery driver immediately noticed this defect and notated it on the receipt and called it in to dispatch. Customer service was called and they scheduled an exchange for the damaged item and a new delivery date was set. Again, I waited another two weeks for them to deliver a new headboard. When the new headboard arrived it was a completely different headboard from the one that was ordered and it did not match the bedroom set at all so the item was refused. Customer service was called again and another exchange was scheduled and a new delivery date was set which was two weeks away. Keep in mind that you cannot schedule your delivery time to fit your schedule so each time a new delivery set we had to take off work to receive the shipment. I think that is absolutely ridiculous when they are the ones that keep making the error. I was hopeful that we would finally get a new headboard for this bedroom set only to be disappointed again. This time when the new headboard arrived it was even more damaged than the original headboard. Unbelievable!! So once again we took pictures and refused to take this item. I immediately called customer service and made them aware of the situation and requested a refund for this bedroom set since they can’t seem to deliver a new headboard for this bedroom set. The customer service agent said the only option was to schedule another exchange. I explained that two previous exchange attempts have been made and exchange was no longer an option for me at this point and a refund was the only option. The customer service agent said that a manager would have to approve a refund. She took my name and number and said she would call me back after she spoke to the manager. Needless to say I never received a call back. I just want a refund so I can go and buy a bedroom set from a reputable company like Nebraska Furniture Mart where I can get brand new furniture and have it delivered in a timely manner. Save yourself the trouble and never do business with Rooms To Go. They have terrible service and refuse to correct a mistake they created. Will update...
Read moreI visited Rooms to Go today (4/2/24) and will never go there to buy anything EVER again. I walked into their Mesquite Texas location looking to purchase a recliner. When I walked in no one greeted me. At first, I didn't think anything of it because I figured once I got a litter further in the store someone would approach me. I walked around the whole store and not one sales person came over to me and asked me if I needed help. I saw what looked to be a hispanic lady (on the heavy side), a bald white man and another lady sitting on a sofa that was placed around about the front of the store. They were all sales men & women and they were all sitting and gossiping about what one of their previous customers said to them as their reasons for not purchasing something with them. I stood there a gave them a look like "is anyone going to get up and ask if I need help" Not one of them said anything to me, they all gave me a blank look as if I was in the wrong store. I felt like the color of my skin had a lot to do with the way I was treated. I actually saw a recliner that I was ready to purchase, but because of the treatment I received I chose to take my business elsewhere so I turned and walked out of the store. I went over to Ashley's furniture and was greeted the moment I walked in the door. From what I experienced, Rooms to Go sales people are not getting the proper training on how to greet customers. They may need to go next door and take note of what Ashley's furniture sales team is doing to greet and keep customers. The only reason I'm even giving Rooms to Go one star is because I had to give one so my rating would post. If it wasn't for that, they would get no star...

This Rooms to Go delivered my furniture on February 22nd at around 2pm when the delivery guys left my house they hit my car that was parked in front of my house. I have tje driver on camera and a neighbor of mine saw them hit my car. The neighbor knocked on my door because I hadn't noticed. I filed a police report with Grand Prairie police amd called Rooms to Go to let them know what happened. I told the reps that I had video and pictures of the damage, they assured me that it would be taken care of after 3 to 5 business days. I called on the 5th day and was told that the Claims department was busy and that they would get to me when they could. I told them no I need them to call me to see when my car would get fixed after another week finally Arkitha from the as department called me and said that she just got my claim that day and hadn't heard anything about it. I told her that I very upset and she assured me that she would let me know by the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Wednesday comes around nothing so I called her number that she told me to call her on and no answer, I left her a vm. Then I gave her about 2 hours and I emailed her. She responded with email but no call. I was more frustrated because she pretty much said that I have to wait cause it's cosmetic. She still hasn't called me. I called customer service again very frustrated and told them that I need a manager from claims department to call me since supposedly there is no number to get a hold of them.
