Also, enough with trying to control what we watch on TV. Having a variety of news stations is acceptable. It is your issue you believe people cannot handle that and you are imposing your opinion and beliefs on others. The fact you believe adults working out in a gym are that intolerance to have a variety of news stations they cannot handle that. You are essentially saying people in this gym act like children and are intolerant to various viewpoints. Shameful.
Ridiculous manager response. Having a variety of news stations is a neutral environment. Your woke aggressive behavior by cancelling all news is absolutely unacceptable.
Latest…..nanny state. This place had the nerve to ban news stations in their TVs. Maybe they should stop imposing their political views on its members, and manage this place. Ridiculous
Gym has been progressively getting worse. Any adults thinking about joining you should go visit after work first. Gym is full of High School kids who hoard around equipment for an extended time. You will get frustrated. Bunch of kids looking in the mirror and flexing. Place has gotten worse so beware.
New thing, no more news channels. All sports. Control freaks. The only gym ever attended that treats customers this way. Forget working out and catching up on world...
Read moreThe aquatics department at this YMCA trashes its own mission—youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Leadership, run by apathetic women, berates lifeguards for doing their jobs while praising phone-addicted slackers, leaving kids vulnerable. As a former manager, I inherited 250+ unscheduled swim lessons from directors who don’t give a damn—youth development ignored. The CPO mocks diligence, skips water testing, and leaves doors open to dangers while kids wander, trashing healthy living. I reported injuries from their negligence; they shrugged, “They’ll learn after they hit their head,” instead of teaching proper swim skills. A coach let kids get hurt, lied I bad-mouthed her when I helped a student, then brought glass onto the deck to spite rules—social responsibility discarded. I was scolded for curbing lifeguards’ device use, falsely accused of yelling, and saw the director pass an unfit supervisor in lifeguarding class to dodge firing her. They pressured me to certify staff with my lapsed credentials—risking my Red Cross standing—so I quit. They tokenized me, a mixed-race Hispanic, for their DEI sham run by smug white women, proving their “responsibility” is fake. Executives hire careless idiots, waste funds on directors’ raises, then axe underpaid lifeguards, keeping everything barely running. I haven’t posted this review in over a year, crippled by depression from the chaos and fear of lawsuits or retaliation. A donor at another YMCA even set me up to be assaulted by a customer’s uncle after I watched my students break records, shattering my trust in the organization entirely. This YMCA doesn’t just fail its tenets—it endangers kids, undermines health, and betrays duty. Find a place that actually lives up to the...
Read moreA lot of the equipment is well worn out and needs to be replaced look at the treadmill. The belt is worn out. It treadmills have clearly been here way longer than they should be instead of fixing the ones that are broken or replacing them. They just put signs on them. They’re broken and then instead of repairing the worn out seats, they just put duct tape on them the shoulder machine has been broken for quite some time when you try adjusting the seat and you sit down for one time person adjusted. It got on and fell off. There is a safety concern and there was a guy fixing the light in the middle of the day, this is also a safety concern. What something could fall and there is a person on the machine right near machine that he was using to fix the lights should be done after hours in the middle of the day. Safety is not the number one priority here clearly. also, the interior is outdated. clear needs to be updated, but the workers are slacking off or the YMCA manager is not doing such...
