Miss Sara’s Play Place and Balloons — Attraction in Metuchen

Came to Tiny Town with my kids and my sister's kid's. This place is an awesome indoor playground for little kids. Even my sister's infant had lots of fun and was kept entertained for several hours. I actually got to sit on their very comfortable Couches and finally got some down time to have a much needed conversation with my sister while all our Kids we're in their own little happy place playing with all the mini fun house's that allows their imaginations to reach an all new high point when they got to play act been Pet Doctors (Vet) performing health inspections on the animals (Teddy-Bears) & doing Food Shopping in the mini Supermarket. My favorite was when my daughter got to first serve her Cousin in the Mini Diner & within minutes she was the customer having her imaginary Breakfast sitting in the tiny Booth and her Cousin did a flip and was then the Cook/Cashier. This was a brilliant experience for all kids and I really enjoyed watching my kids have so much fun + my sister and I got the time to catch up on each other's lives relaxing on the Couch watching our kids have the time of their lives in this awesome place. I'll be back here often as I signed up for the Monthly membership now and was amazed to learn that the Monthly membership actually works out at only $2 per day. My kids Nanny is planning on taking my kids here several times weekly going forward and it's good to know that Metuchen now has an indoor playground that we can go on the days it's raining, Snowing or just Cold out.Not to forget it was actually so Hot outside yesterday that we we're so glad to get a play area indoors with great AC right in the middle of my town. We've been in love with Tiny Town since the 2021 Noon Years Eve party! I'm not going to lie we came for the insta-worthy pics, and the pictures are indeed insta-worthy but it is so much more than that. The pretend play areas are stocked with everything you can ever imagine. The play spaces are so great for cognitive development. As a mom and an educator this was a big plus for me. It gave my son an opportunity to pretend play in a way that he cannot do at home or school. He was able to serve and eat at the mini diner, and then he bounced over to the veterinarian office where he took care of a few stray kitties. He planted and plucked and raked. And this is a kid who typically just runs and throws. The owner of Tiny Town is a mom and she is amazing with kids. She put together this affordable parents night for children two and up. I definitely appreciated including children age two, typically theses events are three and up and must be potty trained. She had no problem with diapers and kiddos who are training. She took into account the commute, and made the event two and a half hours instead of two. Which was great we were able to get there on time and not feel rushed through dinner. She set up the table for the kids and they had pizza family style which was included in the price. When we droped off there was a child who was feeling a bit sad. She scooped the little girl up and redirected her to a fun area, my kid ran off and didn't look back, but I was able to watch her interacting with a little girl. And she was smiling before I left. First experience here was in the super cute play area. Stumbled across them when they first arrived to Metuchen during a street fair. It’s cozy and perfect for little ones to learn and play without getting overstimulated and bouncing off the walls. There are mini town stores where kids can role-play and really let their imagination grow. Everytime I bring my daughter and nephews here it’s a brutal task trying to get them to go home. Had a party here once and as the party ended, the employees were beginning to clean each toy and surface thoroughly so that was great to see and know how serious they take hygiene and cleanliness.

I’ve ordered balloon decor from them twice and each time was so easy, delivery was convenient and on my time. I’ve also rented chairs and tables super last minute for a party - as in I emailed the owner the night before to see if anything was available. I got a quick response before dawn the next day and she arranged the order and delivery so fast. One of the items I needed was unavailable so she took the time to ask/look around for an available one! It really made a difference in elevating the aesthetics of my party.
