If you have other options to go elsewhere please do so immediately. Nursing Unlimited teaches well, but their quality of service is horrible. Unorganized and unprofessional. I registered a BLS class because I had to renew it for my job. I paid for the class online and in the confirmation email said that I will receive an email to complete the online portion of the 2 part online-classroom test. Never Received It! I called that same day around 4pm telling them that I never received it, they told me to still come in for class the next day and just do the skills portion. I came in the next day the instructor, Diego, was really thorough and energetic. Most of things I already knew because this is just a renewal for me. He told me before I passed and left the class that he will send the online portion for me to complete within the hour. Fine, the class was over at 10:37 am. Waited an hour, no email. Waited 3 hours, no email. Waited until 4:30 pm to call and as soon as I called diego picks up and says, "oh yes I'm working on sending that to you right now". Really? An hour turned into 6 hours of waiting for the online portion. He finally sends it, took me about 3 hours to complete it. I complete it, and I tried twice sending him the completion of the course as an attachment, it came back as failed. I called them the office was closed. The next day, which is today, I called them at 8am, one of the young ladies picked up my call I told her about the email issue, she confirmed that their systems are down. I asked if I can bring in my completion form in person instead, she stated that I can. I dropped off the form at approx. 9:30am. I asked her if Diego was here to send the information that I need to provide to my job, she states no he should be there within another hour, and then stated she will make sure he sends it out to me before 5pm today. I waited until 4:40 to call to asks what is the delay of my certificate. First I was told he was on the phone, then I was transferred then hung up on. Then I called again, a gentleman answered the phone I asked the same thing, he made a laughing noise, and hanged up the phone. I then called again and said, stated to them that if the call drops again I will come to them myself to speak to diego personally, its been 3 days dealing with this, it shouldn't be like this. I got hanged up. I called again, and guess who picks up the phone.... Diego. I told him the situation, he confirms their systems are still down. Hmmm systems are still down but your phones services works fine. I asked how long or how many days will it take to provide my BLS card, he said he can't print it, everything is done electronically. I asked is there another way he can send it to me because I really need it ASAP for my employer. He started raising his voice, mind you I was already irritated that I got hung upon numerous of times, so you would think he would have a little empathy concerning my needs. NOT! He went all the way to say, its his decision when to send it out to me. In my head I was started to realize if the systems are down or not. It was only 4 people during our skills session class, you mean to tell me its taking a full 24+ hours to provide my certificate. He said I have to wait and ask is there anything else I needed while raising his voice. Then he says "piece out". Unprofessional, unwanted behavior. All I want is my BLS card.
UPDATE: The director called me the very next day, apologized and provided me what I needed for work. He didn’t judge me or anything and he said on his behalf he is sorry that I went through this situation and he is training his...
Read moreSo i had a class here and i must say they have the best BLS tutors ever!!! Rosie and Desiree were so good and know their content, they also made the class super exciting. However when it comes to the person at the front desk luna or lina idk she has a very horrible and rude attitude! I was coming from work and i had only my wallet with me. I needed a paper and walked up to her saying jokingly can i get 3-4 sheets of paper so as to take notes omg she flared up and told me in her voice “No i can only give you 1 we are not responsible to provide your stationery “ and i went ahead and told her i only needed 2 but she refused and gave just 1. Here is to you young lady, whatever you are going through should stay at your home and you should not put your frustration on customers. If you are rude to people that come there , the school won’t have students and you won’t have a job. It takes you nothing to give me 2 sheets of papers but you just wanted to be mean and rude for no reason! If you want to be selfish and self centered healthcare field isn’t for you, you should go to McDonald’s where they never want to give extra ketchup, i think your attitude fits there better. You acted like you was perfect and have never been on a tight schedule before, just know Karma is real and...
Read morePassed the CNA exam the 1st time and I couldn't have done it without the support of everyone at Nursing Unlimited. I took the HHA course, then the CNA review before the actual board exam.
I'm brand new to nursing, so it was so nice to meet people here that really cared about my success, and who have just been extremely friendly in general.
A few people really stand out for making my introduction into nursing such a positive experience: 1) Lisa Rose was my 1st teacher/mentor, and she really clinched it for me. I really started feeling that I'd made the right decision to pursue nursing after getting to know her and her wide range of experience in medicine. 2) All of the J's and Kimmone in admin at the front area; sooo friendly and supportive. 3) Jessica Delgado is going to be an RN soon and she has also been a wonderful teacher/mentor 4) Petya is such a wealth of experience and knowledge, it was great to get her perspective on all sorts of subjects.
My classmates throughout were fantastic, too. I know I'm gushing, but I'm really grateful for everyone during this 1st step of my career.
