The North Dade Regional Library is truly one of my favorite places to visit. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and receives the help they need. Whether it’s finding a book, checking out a laptop or tablet, or simply answering a question, their customer service is always exceptional. What stands out the most to me is how much the library offers beyond just books. You can check out laptops, tablets, and even Wi-Fi hotspots, which is such a huge help for families and students. The building itself is spacious, clean, and well organized, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. Every visit feels comfortable and peaceful, which makes it the perfect place to read, study, or bring the kids for learning activities. The children’s area is absolutely amazing! My kids love spending time there. They participate in storytimes, arts and crafts, and other fun programs that encourage creativity and learning. It’s such a joy to see how much they enjoy the activities and how the library continues to offer new and exciting things for children of all ages. I really appreciate how the North Dade Regional Library serves the entire community. They create a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for everyone adults, teens, and kids alike. I come here often, and every experience reminds me of how valuable this library is. If I could give this library 10 stars, I absolutely would! It truly deserves...
Read moreI love my city, and I love going to libraries ..what I don’t like with NDL is that it is so noisy and distracting. Staff or security never tells the patrons to “lower their voices”. There are several children here on the weekend which is great..but noisy!!! The lobby needs to be revamped where kids have a separate entrance and all that space reduced to the librarians desk. Last weekend in the middle of studying and finishing assignments, there was a DJ playing music in the lobby! WTH!! I bet they would not even think of allowing that in some “other” city, like Aventura! I don’t care what they were selling or doing for the community or kids, that should’ve been done outside !!! Or anyone who needs to have events to seek services of patrons,do them in the private areas. I pay my taxes and contribute to this library…I don’t care where it’s located the etiquette of being in the library must be monitored. I suggest larger signage, signage with the “be quiet” or shhhhh symbol known all around the world-the index finger on the lips. Additionally, a section for ppl who want to just watch movies…so they don’t come in the “study room” to do so without their earpiece; or have a large study group room— we know that discussions are going to be had, so they need a complete room. Finally can the staff be a bit more welcoming. I know Fl is known for lacking customer service but …do better! That’s...
