This place used to be called Macca Tree. The parking is free, easy, and plentiful. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and patient. I ordered brown stew chicken, rice & peas and steamed veggies, with a cream soda. The cream soda was delicious. The chicken was bland. It didn't taste authentic at all. It was dry and was missing something. I think they used browning in the bottle instead of browning the sugar in a pan. I didn't taste any tomato or Ketchup in the sauce either. The chicken definitely could've been better. The rice was dry, which is weird. I don't think I've ever experienced dry rice before. And the veggies were blah. Hopefully, I caught them on a bad day and this is not a representation of what they are truly capable of. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Affordable, large portions, and super friendly staff. My best friend took me to lunch here, and I have back been almost every day since. I have treated my coworkers here and they loved the food. There’s 3 lunch specials to choose from for less then $6 from 11:00-3:00 p.m. on weekdays. You can enjoy nice music videos while you wait. It’s always a pleasure each visit. I have only tried the curry chicken and jerk chicken with peas and rice, if course topped with oxtail gravy. I’m not a rice eater, but their rice isn’t too dry or too mushy. It’s just right!!

I have been asking around for a good Jamaican restaurant for over 2 weeks and I landed this one by way of my colleague who is a Haitian woman. She told me I need to try this place out and she bragged about it. Today I decided I will fall in and I am glad I did. The food is excellent the rice superb. The plantains were like butter ice cream. The oxtails were tender and seasoned to perfection. The Cabbage had a very good twist with the peas and the carrots included. The brown stew chicken with skinless and I love that even more. Please whoever the chef is never change or try to expand or make anything different. It's fine just the way it is. I give this a five stars because my husband is a chef and if his pallet says yes then this is very good cuisine. Keep up...

This place is a fricking hidden gem! Based on where it is located, I would have never even thought to go here, Ever.. but since I was in the area, I just did it. They make brown stew salmon! Oh my gosssh!! You can taste the coconut milk in the rice. The salad is filled with fresh sweet cranberries and the veggies on top of the salmon are super fresh and crisp! It's like a bunch of professional chefs run this restaurant. Why this awesome place is hidden in this hole of a plaza is beyond me. I tried the lunch price portion of their brown stew chicken and it was nice. Many people order the oxtails so I gotta try that next. One of the BEST caribbean food places in South Florida. Seating is only a small area so I usually take out and enjoy my food...
