Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Miami Gardens

Ross hires racist people to work there. I was with my four-year-old daughter they followed me throughout the whole entire store. And when I came back to do a return I was told they had to view the cameras even though I had my receipt and product at hand... the store manager by the name of Mario told me that they view cameras now... which made no sense that was absolutely absurd they had me wait for hours just to view a camera. I had my receipt and I also mention that never in my life that I've been a Ross Shopper for 20 plus years that they view cameras(I confirmed with corporate that was a lie)and also one of the loss of prevention security guards tried to attack me when I was sticking up for myself in front of my 4 year old daughter... the cashier had to tell him stop and leave me alone. I have never been embarrassed and humiliated in my entire life and never experienced racism until now they treated me very poorly and it was so obvious because I was black. I called corporate to file a complaint nothing was done he still works there all I got was an apology from a manager named Steve. they did nothing about the attempted assault and the way I was treated nothing... Ross is horrible they don't care about the customers and we as black people are the main ones that support and purchase, they care less about us...

I’m going to leave a two stars review because I’ve always loved this store! But today my experience changed! I was patiently waiting at the jewelry counter for the rep to ask the price of an item. Two other ladies approached and the cashier totally ignores me and starts helping them. Cool I’ll just wait, but nooo she just continued ignoring me and went back to register 1. I explained to her I was first even before the other two ladies and she just said I’m the only one u have to wait. I explained again I was here first and she said ohhh you should have said something before I help those two ladies. I told her I didn’t because I was trying to be nice but she needed to help me. She then approached me and said u have to press the bottom and I was like nobody said anything to me I’m just been ignored over here. She had a nasty attitude I know the main reason why I was been ignored is because I’m Latin and white skin because she was super nice to the other two ladies she helped before! Not good Ross not good! My visit was at 12pm and unfortunately I don’t have the rep name but I’m sure u can find her in the system and...

Well let me tell you the first problem well me and my wife and two children walked in the man at the front didn't even speak after I spoke and said hi, we walk around for a few minutes I notice some one watching didn't think any of but anyway I told my I needed to use the restroom so I go and I ask the older lady in the back can I use the bathroom she said with a attitude it's over there I didn't say anything I started walking over but I noticed a keypad so I said there is it locked because it had a keypad so she catches attitude and say did you even check it so the way she said it I said you dont have to say it like that then she said yes I do.so i got mad as hell and said something back and walked away.
