Superfresh — Local services in Miami Gardens

In April I was racially profiled by one of the cashiers or cleaners that was covering the guard’s lunch I was stopped and had to give up my backpack then I still had to retrieve my bag upon leaving which he saw me do and then still stopped me to look inside my bag. Just have a second guard? I’m a 28 YO womxn. That was when it was called Price Choice. I didn’t go back until August (the month they rebranded) when I saw the guard put his hands on a Black customer. I’m just disappointed that security is taken as a joke and they want to be violent towards Black and brown customers. I want to give my money to local stores not Pub!ix and unfortunately it’s now affecting my health bc I used to fresh fruit shop on my lunch breaks due to the convenience of the location. They do stock great produce and grocery, support other local business including the cafe, and provide secure financial services to the community - which I’m sure does pay off in great profits. I just wish for better and I hope the owners take this...

We stubbled across this supermarket on the way to Hardrock Stadium last season. We passed by again this last weekend and what a surprise. It looked more welcoming this time.
