My family and I (June 4, 2018) went to the location on 27th ave near 183rd St. We were on the left side of the entry way. We waited 15 minutes to order while 6 cars in the right side ordered. I drove up towards the window and the cashier stated I needed to go back because I have to order through the imtercom (In the past, I was instructed to drive up to place my order at the window). When I drove up after placing my order, the first thing I noticed was the cashier on the right side window sitting down on her phone. There were 4 cars still waiting on the right ordering lane. The cashier that waited on us, showed no emotion nor remorse for the time it took for my order to be placed. As the cashier was handing me my finished items, she did not properly place my drinks (I ordered 4) in the carrier. Two of the drinks, the ones facing her, tumbled out of the carrier and fell. She then closed the window as she was preparing our food with no acknowledgement. Once she handed us the food, I asked for the drinks to be replaced. She said, "no, we don't do that, the flops are expensive". I explained to her that the drinks were not properly in the carrier. We went back and forth as I explained to her that it was not and had she not closed the window after looking at the items fall we would not have had this conversation before our food was made. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she is the manager, I asked for the person above her and she said that there is no one above her. I asked for the franchise owner she said that she does not know who that it. After about 5 minutes and AFTER she saw me documenting she said, I can give you soda. I compromised and she gave me, one fruit punch and a coke, of which she filled to the rim with ice. During the conversation, the other cashier was sitting down periodically on her phone and only moved once. As I was leaving, I saw two gentlemen whom I assumed were the chefs, taking a break. I asked for the manager/owner information and he gave me the phone number for a guy named Alex. I called Alex twice from different phone numbers and left voicemails and he has yet to respond. I come to this location often and the service is always sub par, but I ignore it and enjoy my food. The food is always tasty. I see many faces come and go. After years of bad choices in service workers, management will need to evaluate the work ethic and customer experience at this location. When I am I'm the south end, I frequent 54th st and 17th ave, and my experiences have been great (though I do not go there often). Please offer service and customer experience training when hiring staff. It makes a big difference. Note, my...
Read moreOn Sunday, January 5th at approximately 8:30 PM, I brought my out-of-town cousins to this dimly lit Snappers (179th and Unity) drive-thru for their first Snappers experience. My cousin asked me “what’s in the seafood rice?” So through the speaker I asked the attendant. Her reply was yelling “I DON’T KNOW!!😡”. So figuring maybe she didn’t quite hear me through the rickety speaker system at the drive-thru, I decided to pull up to the window to clarify. The attendant at the window who was an elder black female with a slight frame, COMPLETELY IGNORED US. She turned her back to us and refused to acknowledge my cousins and I, which angered my cousin and humiliated me, as I had previously spoken so high of Snappers. After ignoring us for over a minute, The attendant finally opened the window to speak to the people in the car behind ours and another employee joined her in the window to assist with the other customer. We patiently waited for them to finish with their conversation before we attempted to get their attention. We repeated “Excuse me. Hello. Pardon me.” They both continued to ignore us. I then beeped the horn and the 2nd employee responded “Yes?” I asked her what is in the seafood rice to which they both replied “we don’t know! We weren’t there when they made it. The one who made it ain’t here and they don’t give us a list of ingredients.” I found these employees to be extremely rude, discourteous, and unprofessional. I was thoroughly embarrassed in front of my family and will NEVER give my business to Snappers or any of their affiliates ever again. I would also discourage anyone from patronizing their business and brand as their poor customer service and cringeworthy lack of product knowledge is unacceptable and an embarrassment to neighborhood businesses. Unfortunately, my cousin is a social media influencer and her review will be a lot harsher than mine. But you can rest assured that Snappers has lost my business forever, thanks to those two representatives. Hopefully management will train their staff better so no one has to suffer this type of...
Read moreCustomer Service Here Is Terrible, I went here yesterday overnight shift and at the window I try to say hello in the girl said no to me. And totally ignored me. Before the order even came to the window there was a Baby ROACH CRAWLING on the window, this place is not sanitary, please don't eat here I repeat do not do any Postmates or ubereats delivery either, they won't treat with with respect. They do not care about customer service, the number on Google is not even correct. you better off spending your money somewhere else, I would like to support this business but I would not spend my hard-earned money for people like this who treat me this way, at least give great customer service. they need to do a better job with hiring people that really like to work in this type of industry. The health inspector need to come in this place and really check it out because this is ridiculous. if you don't believe me go out there and try for yourself but I do not have to lie about my experience or make anything up. I hope whoever owns this business reads this comment and improve on their customer service and more. I've been to snappers in the ghetto before and I have got this type of service, it just doesn't make any sense and I was going to go to the restaurant to complain but I just end up changing my mind and leave a review when I seen the other reviews here, POINT BLANK. Service sucks here and do not spend any of your...
