9/03/18 @ 4:23pm... I drove up to the dive Thur window to place an order. Just before I seen that checkers was offering 2 for 2 deal on checker burgers also it is advertised on the the dumpster door when I got to the restaurant. When I place my order I as told that they don’t offer that deal anymore and tried to up sale me a 2 for 5$ deal...So cancel the order. When I was backing out the drive through I had to look at the sign again. So I drove around and park and walk to the service window and when I ask again about the 2 for 2 deal? First thing I noticed is three young girl standing around on the cell phone and when I ask about the deal advertised on the store the young lady laugh and told me that they don’t offer that deal... So I ask to speak to the manager she laughed again and yell out in Spanish to the manager come here... with a I Don’t Care Attitude. When the manager came to the front she didn’t even come to the window to see what the problem was... but had the nerve to say out loud that what she says goes...😳🤦🏽♂️. And walked away. When I ask for the manager name the same young lady laughed and didn’t bother to say anything nor did the manager that later appeared in the back and didn’t bother to look up to acknowledge me ask a complaining customer.. As a member of management I there was a customer dissatisfaction I would be all ears to listen to the customer and to solve and satisfy the customer... That’s how I train my staff... I would like feedback from this. From a store that was on Undercover Boss I thought customer service was key and great.....
Read moreThis is by far the worse checkers ever and I always eat checkers the manager is very disrespectful i goes there and remind you this my 2nd time in one day less than an hour apart 1st I took myself and I ordered a 10 piece combo with a checker burger and a 2 for 3 spicy chicken so I made it home and my sister them wanted to go there since they are finally open remind you I have 5 different families staying in my house so yeah we had 3 different orders the 2nd go around 1st they tell us only combos I said how when you i just left and then my sister said ok she order a 5piece meal and a number 3 combo came up to $25.38 like how now everything has to come large so then we said ok cool now we tell them we have 2 more orders and they said aggressively only one order in drive thru i asked to speak to the manager and the manager came outside to my car and said she don't care they close at 5 pm today and she is closing the side of the drive thru that I was on and told me to drive out and go to the other side I ask why are you closing early when there is no curfew and she said once again she do not care about it she still closing and I asked since I was in line over 30 minutes can I continue my orders she said she is only taking 1 order in drive thru and only large combos I will not be coming back this is the worse customer service ever from the manager on down to the employees this is...
Read moreThis review is based on my visit on Tuesday 10/22/19 @ 6:45pm. As a former hotel and theme park employee I am normally very forgiving and understanding of what happens at a casual restaurant. This review is not meant to reprimand any employees of the venue but as a learning opportunity for future service. When I visited Checkers I used the drive thru on the left that would have you on the passenger side. I waited several minutes at the speaker box to place my order. No one greeted me. I did not notice any signs of closure on that lane but did notice that another car or two were being serviced in the opposite side. Instead of reversing I proceeded to drive up to the cashier window to see if I could place my order face to face. Three employees noticed and made eye contact with me through the closed cashier window but not one of them acknowledged me. I didn't mind waiting a few more minutes in case they were in the middle of other orders. I waited as long as I could before I realized they had no interest in assisting me since I used the "back up lane" and skipped straight to their window. Whether verbal or nonverbal I was not a priority to them. I drove off while they assisted cars that arrived after me and walk up orders. Love the food but their service is much to be desired. All I wanted was a simple "So sorry for the wait, I will assit you as soon...
