BodySense - Holistic Wellness Center & Spa — Attraction in Miami

I saw a Groupon promo so I called Body Sense 2-3 weeks ago before I purchased their promotional deal to ask if I can schedule an appointment for a prenatal massage for sciatic nerve pain while I'm 5 months pregnant. The person that I spoke to on the phone said yes they can do it & that they have massage therapist that specialize in that specific form of massage. So, my fiancée drives me to my prenatal massage scheduled for today. I fill out the paperwork & go use the bathroom. As soon as I get out of the bathroom, the lady who is supposed to do my prenatal massage starts telling me that she doesn't feel comfortable doing it because she sees me limping around & she suggests that I go to the hospital first & I informed her that I already went to the hospital & the Dr. told me that it's sciatic nerve pain, possibly because of the baby's position but she still refused to do my massage because she's nervous to do it. She suggested that I come later in my pregnancy. I asked why didn't they tell me that when I called weeks ago & told them that I was 5 months pregnant & experiencing leg pain because of siatica??? So, I told them to return my money on Groupon. After bringing up my refund & texting my fiancée to I pick me up, the owner's wife comes out & mentions a nearby chiropractor that I can go to but of course, she didn't know the name of the business or the number so then she suggests for me to let her husband do the massage for me when he's done with his client. Suddenly, the female massage therapist who was supposed to do my massage initially said that she'll do it. I was just over all of the inconsistent back & forth so I told them that I'll just go somewhere else since they don't feel...

I would first like to say that I have never encountered a person who answers a phone call so rude and unpolite. Her name was Melanie. I had a Groupon that was given to me by my daughter. She said that it would help me to get a massage due to the fact that I had a double hip replacement because of the secondary side effects of chemotherapy. I am a two time CANCER survivor. I had asked her if I can can speak to someone because my Groupon had expired in months of us being confined in our home due to the Coronavirus. She bluntly said no because they had been opened for awhile. I proceeded to ask her how long and she reply, I really don't know because I started working a month ago. I asked her if I can speak to someone else and she let me have your name and number but, I don't promise you that they will call you by this week. How rude of her. I would definitely not advise anyone to go.

I would first want to apologize to Angel and his employees about my previous review. It is truly sad what one bad apple can do to the rest. I had my appointment earlier today and all I can say is that it was the best massage and experience. Leyeis, my massage therapist was amazing. She made me feel like a totally brand new person. I would want everyone to know that I am not one to write reviews but, I owe it to BodySense and to their employees. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to make me feel welcome and at ease. I can authentically Certify that the Therapist Maria Rangel (I asked her name and I did not forget it, because I never forget a Professional who works with the highest Quality, Excellence, Wisdom and Humanity, Oh my God, I feel Gratitude to have received her Holistic Treatment, because I had severe plantar fasciitis, with terrible lumbago and disabling joint pain but what a healing surprise today to meet Maria and her knowledge, although it was just 1 hour of treatment but she was Very Kind to gave me 1 hour and a half as a courtesy of the Spa for being my first time and the truth is that it was worth it, was a tru Gift, she explained the treatment well with Arnica, Castor oil, Bamboo Therapy, cupping, Thai Stretching a complete Detox, I found a Great Treasure she is FORMIDABLE, FORMIDABLE FORMIDABLE, I made a New Booking with her and I will become a Membership, I feel very Fortunate, Thank you very much Miss Maria for your admirable dedication and passion for what you do, she gave me a Tour to see the entire Spa and it is wonderful, I told her that I would carry Her in my pocket so that she would always give therapy to my husband and my entire family, it was the Best of my therapies on the Planet, I no longer feel pain, today for the first time in a long time I will sleep Mega Happy without pain, Thank you again Maria for Educating me about the importance of the lymphatic system, I feel Renewed, see you next week, Blessing, you are incredible the best Star of Massage Miss Maria Rangel thank you so...
