The check in process was very smooth and quick, much better than other ports. The luggage handlers on the other hand are TERRIBLE. Specifically the curbside baggage handler who is responsible for stapling the ship tag & lifting the bags onto a cart. He demanded a tip from us two separate times. We informed him we didn’t have cash. It was a very uncomfortable interaction. When we received our larger bag (new hard shell samsonite checked bag), the corner with a wheel was punched in and it severely damaged the functionality of the bag. I believe it was retaliation, but negligent regardless. After disembarking we noticed signs stating it is not required to tip baggage handlers, clearly this is an ongoing issue that has not been handled. Read moreThis is definitely a really nice looking cruise port. My first impression was the decor looked really good .from the plants and trees they had inside the port lobby ,it looked really cool plus it was very clean. I was impressed by the ambiance.

Give yourself plenty of time up arrival, ask before they take your luggage if that is your ship.
