This is a scam, plain and simple. we showed up at Dock 1 in front of Queen Marie boat operated by Bayfront Cruises ahead of time. upon showing the tickets, we were told they do not have our names on the booking list because the company we booked our trip with is a Bayride, located at the other side, at the pier 5. we went there, asked to pick up tickets and were told that the 1st company (Bayfront Cruises) is the one that we have our tickets with. The lady showed us the code on our ticket that supported that. we went back only to be told that the cruise is sold out and they are not the company that operates the cruise we had tickets for. at this point, not going to lie, we lost our composure and we were speaking with the operator in raised voices. he told us that he is not responsible for operating the cruise we bought our tickets for and we are to leave his place of business (which was a public pier). on our way to the 2nd operator (Bayride), we called the number provided and we're told that 1. they will not tell us where the boat is located unless we pay additional $15 per person; 2. we missed our cruise (which at that point was true as we were walking back and forth for over 30 min) and there is nothing they can do. 3. they will not allow us to purchase later cruise with cash (we didn't want to give them our credit card number). as we approached the Bayride, the lady at the kiosk told us that Bayfront Cruises has split from them and they have been getting people looking for them all the time. She was an extremely gracious person who agreed to help us (at this point we were miserable). She called the number provided which is for the company called attractions4us. After repeatedly correcting the the person on the other side of the line, calling them on their bull crap, we were told that the boat's name is Queen Marie, and the managers name is Javi. We made our way back to Bayfront, and asked to speak to Javi. At that point, we were told that no such person works for them and we are in the wrong person. We showed a guy a ticket, told him what we were told on the phone. He said that we can purchase a later cruise for $15 dollars, even though it's not cruise we have tickets with, because he has a deal with other cruise operators and he can accommodate us. We did loose our nerves (not shouting but speaking with rised vioces) because it's exactly what the operator told us 1st time we called. He then asked us to leave because we are not supposed to be there with wrong tickets. When we showed him the code on our ticket (which no one has ever scanned) he said that actually it is his boat and his cruise. But! He showed us a list of passengers (like excel sheet can't be altered) saying our names are not on the list. He said, we bought our tickets with a company called attractions4us, they do business with him, but he does not have our reservation and we have to leave as he is not going to do anything because it's not his problem. We yet again called the number for attractions4us, no one picked up. After 2nd time, we were send to the voice mail and were informed that the mail box was full. At this point we filed a complain with Klook and are awaiting their response. I would strongly advise to avoid both attractions4us and Bayfront Cruises company as we have received 0 help and were sent back and forth. Even if Bayfront Cruises were unknowing participants, they guy has seen our ticket with a correct code and still send us on a wild goose chase. Go to BAYFRONT who are located at the Pier 5. The lady there was very helpful even though it was not her company...
Read moreThe good part is you get to see Miami and the harbour. The guide has a host of conversational words in many languages. You get to see the skyline, cruise ships and celebrity houses.
The bad stuff. Noting there was another boat that seemed to be doing a tour, but not sure where it goes from.
$30 plus tax for a circle of the harbour.
When the guide does not know your country he choses to do a terrible impression of what he thinks people sound like. Bizarre, not funny and just weird.
They play loud music most of the time, really loud. The seats are uncomfortable. The commentary is not great, even with an iPad of hints. Perhaps the commentary quality from Chicago river tours have spoilt me, but with Google open most of the audience could have done better.
The photo taking “for safety” is pointless as no photo appears to be matched to a name and it makes boarding take ages and the cruise leaves at least 15 mins later than stated on the board.
You get a wrist brand and then your receipt is taken back as well.
You are not allowed your own drinks and snacks, their drinks and snacks are expensive and few / no healthy options.
Did smell odd on the bottom deck.
Docking was amateur hour, took 2 attempts just to draw level to the dock to throw the lines.
Still when we got back there was a long line of people waiting to get on….
The business replied to my review and this is my follow up comment on November 8th 2025.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I did want to mention one thing about the pre-boarding photos, they didn’t seem to have any real safety or accountability purpose on the day. There wasn’t any link between the photos and passengers, and no explanation of how they might actually be used if needed. It mostly came across as a commercial step that slowed things down a bit, rather than something done for safety. My review was constructive feedback, since the views and route were lovely, a few small changes around comfort, commentary, and transparency would really lift the...
Read moreI have been on many of these cruises in SF, NY, Boston, and Chicago. This was by far the worst one. I booked online, and the location they sent me was wrong. I reached there well in advance, called them, and they gave me a different location. I told them that this was their mistake, and they should put me on a different cruise, so they demanded an additional $15. When I refused, the man on the phone said, "If you are not going to pay, I'm hanging up because I have other things to do." What other things? You work in customer service; this is your job.
Thank god for the woman on the counter who was much nicer and put me on a cruise anyway. The boat itself is pretty bad. There is little outdoor space, so you'll be left competing for pictures. This is despite the steep price tag of $35. They blast loud music the entire ride, and the tour guides couldn't be more useless if they tried. All that, and the entire excursion doesn't even last the full 90 minutes. Do yourself a favour and walk over to a different cruise provider with a better boat and more respect for...
