Our recent trip to LandShark Bar & Grill at Miami Bayside was everything we love about dining in Miami! Located right on the waterfront, this spot is a tropical paradise where great vibes and mouthwatering flavors come together in perfect harmony.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and a laid-back, beachy atmosphere that made us feel like we were on vacation (even if it was just for a few hours!). The views of the marina, with boats gently bobbing in the water, set the perfect backdrop for our dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because wow, was it incredible! We kicked things off with their signature LandShark Lager (how could we not?), which was the ideal way to start our Miami adventure. Crisp, refreshing, and just the right amount of chill to match the ocean breeze.
For starters, we couldn’t resist the Peel & Eat Shrimp—juicy, succulent, and perfectly seasoned with Old Bay. It was like a taste of the sea on our plate!
Then came the main course, and let me tell you, choosing just one dish was a challenge! But we finally settled on the Fish Tacos and Jimmy’s Jammin’ Jambalaya. The fish tacos were bursting with flavor—fresh, flaky fish topped with zesty slaw and a drizzle of creamy lime sauce that tied everything together. The jambalaya? A spicy, savory delight that transported us straight to the heart of the South. Each bite was packed with shrimp, chicken, and sausage, all swimming in a rich, flavorful sauce that we couldn’t get enough of.
Of course, no visit to LandShark Bar & Grill would be complete without indulging in dessert. We went all out with the Chocolate Hurricane—a massive, chocolatey delight that was as decadent as it sounds. It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
But what truly made our time at LandShark special was the vibe—casual, fun, and quintessentially Miami. Whether you’re hanging out with friends, enjoying a family meal, or just looking for a great place to unwind, LandShark Bar & Grill is the spot to be. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and memories of a day well spent in paradise.
If you’re ever in Miami, make sure to stop by and experience it for yourself—you won’t be...
Read moreUpon entering the establishment there was no one there to greet us. The place was a hot mess when we walked in. That should’ve been my first sign!! There were multiple dirty tables in EVERY section of the restaurant; yet everyone was out on the patio. The drink menu on the bar was so dirty and sticky. The bartender looked overwhelmed even though we were the only two sitting at his bar when we can in. Perhaps it was shift change but that’s not an excuse! I was told they needed time to clean up, 5-10 minutes and we’d have a table outside. It was less than that. As we walked out to the patio the woman says, “watch yourselves with the drip” ; who knows what was dripping but that’s gross in an entry way. I went to use the ladies room. That was clearly a mistake. It was trashed!! The hand sanitizer by the ladies room was full but didn’t work. The floor in and out of the bathroom was soaking wet. We ordered 2 drinks that were decent. We ordered peel and eat shrimp and the shrimp and crab salad lettuce wraps. The peel and eat shrimp were not cooked fully and had no Old Bay taste to them. The lettuce wraps were not a complete plate. They were “out” of cucumbers. I attempted to eat some of the shrimp/crab salad which was full sized shrimp and little to no crab. Honestly I just ate the jalapeño that came on the side and left the rest. The server didn’t seem to be too bothered that myself and my husband weren’t happy. He did send over someone whom I gather is the manager. That gentleman took off the peel and eat shrimp as well as $5 for not having cucumbers on the lettuce wrap plate. That was all we had; 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and nothing else. Even with our “discounts” the tab came to $47 and that included a gratuity. I HATE when places do that!!!! After the taxes and all, there it was. Well I hope you enjoyed the $6 because it wasn’t even worth that. We got 2 great pictures (not posted here) out of it but we will NEVER be back! There are a ton of places to eat in the area. Do yourself a favor and go to...
