I went here on a Sunday when admission is free, luckily I didn't pay to get in. However, I paid $10.00 in parking alone to go to this art museum. A complete waste of time and people's money and I never say that when it comes to art museums. This "museum" has on the official site that they have as a part of their permanent collection the following artist's none of which were on display: Among the artists represented in the permanent collection are John Baldessari, José Bedia, Linda Benglis, Joseph Beuys, Ross Bleckner, John Chamberlain, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Sue Coe, Lynne Golob Gelfman, Adolph Gottlieb, David Hockney, Robert Indiana, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Wassily Kandinsky, Pat Lipsky, Marisol, María Martínez-Cañas, Robert Motherwell, Louise Nevelson, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg, Emilio Sanchez, Julian Schnabel, Jesús Rafael Soto, Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, William Wegman, and Purvis Young. When I confronted a front desk staff member as to why Andy Warhol and all the other artists that were mentioned on their website were not on display, the staff member looked at me with total confusion (not knowing who Warhol is in the first place); and said we are only displaying two artists and pointed to a pamphlet. I told this staff member that what they are advertising is deceptive and wrong, and they need to change/make that clear on their official website. She then told me she will tell someone at the museum. The "museum" is only one very small floor with a very small...

went to the Museum of Art design better known as the MOAD -I think it's operated by Dade College.  it's in a historic building - the first floor of the museum is pretty boring mostly civil rights stuff - important but as they say "been there done that" way too many times - my eyes start to gloss over . 2nd floor is mostly like modern art - kind of unique &  it is free or actually they request a donation -not sure if it's mandatory whatever that means (that has always confused me)  and he said he'd let me in free if I agreed to have my picture taken which seemed strange & I don't care but nobody that I recall ever actually took...

A quaint museum with some interesting pieces. It’s free on Sundays and worth a quick stroll to check it out if you’re around the area. I wouldn’t go out of the way for this Muesum though.
