Had a wonderful encounter with our server Andres whose demeanor was calm and serene in comparison to our second server Jackie who was lively and outgoing. Both had their own style which were fine but I didn’t enjoy what happened at the end of our meal. Overall the meal was delicious except the pasta which was limp and not al dente and the brussel sprouts did taste burnt. My brother enjoyed the basque style cheesecake and the shrimp was flavorful and fresh. My mom found her veal with pate a bit gamey but my sister says that is normal. I forgot the exact names of our meal because I didn’t post this review on the same night we went to let myself cool off since I didn’t want the restaurant to lose a star based on what an employer did. I usually tip 20% unless the service was spectacular and only 15% if it was less than expected. Tonight Andres was very good and Jackie who took over seem to try her best to give us a good time. The restaurant management decided to send Andres home maybe because it was a rainy day and business was slow. Andres pointed out that we would be in good hands and said it would be nice for his colleague to get a chance to get serve us (because place was a bit empty). I decided to tip 22% but twice the transaction didn’t go through on the portable machine. Jackie tried again but on the third time she presses the button and didn’t even need me to sign like before. i found the interaction suspicious and then she said we would get me a receipt but left us to tend to other new tables. We were sitting awkwardly for 5 minutes and my family told me to just check my app for the charge or leave. Jackie was attentive when we were eating but now she was avoiding eye contact. I insisted on seeing the receipt since she promised to get it for me so I flagged her down on her second passing of our area and requested the receipt. She told another person to get the receipt and when I looked it over she changed my choice from 22% to 25%. What bothered me immensely was not the additional 3% but rather the way it was done. She saw me press 22% twice so she can’t say it was an accident and she shouldn’t have pressed it to begin with. When I tried to press the screen the third time, she quickly took over and it miraculously went through which is why it made me suspect there was something that she didn’t want me to see. I even asked about my signature and she quickly dismissed me and left with the machine. The restaurant is spacious with a long bar showing a row of wines on tap. There is an open kitchen at the end of the restaurant. Bathrooms are found between the bar and kitchen. There is outdoor seating but on a rainy day the umbrellas were closed. There is limited parking on the street but there is public parking inside the building one street down. drive around the block to find it. when you go down the elevator into a paved walkway, turn left at the big globe sculpture (10 feet wide) and you can see the restaurant across the street.

Sixty Vines has been on my list forever now! So excited to be able to check out this place. Food & Drink Menu Selections: * Mimosa Bar * Charcuterie Board * Orange Rolls * Grilled Shrimp Salad * Radiatori * Breakfast Pizza * Caramelized Onion Sliders The mimosa bar was a self service station that include included Cava, grapefruit juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, and some fresh fruit. The mimosa was very light and refreshing, and you can make it to your liking. The food was pretty on point!!! My favorites were the Grilled Shrimp Salad which had a nice smoky flavor from the shrimp and just the perfect amount of dressing. The Breakfast Pizza was delish with sausage and eggs, that crust was heaven. The pizza came out piping hot and perfect. Loved the flavors of the Caramelized Onion Slides too. The Orange Rolls were tasty and a fellow Yelper said they are known for these rolls. If I'm being honest, there was way too much icing and the rolls were a bit too dense for my liking. If they were lighter and fluffier then I would be a huge fan. It was almost a mix of a cinnamon roll and monkey bread combined. Tasty but too sweet for my liking. I love everything about this place!!! The space is absolutely STUNNING!!! The high ceilings are beautiful and really open up the space along with all the windows and natural lighting. They have tons of seating indoors and on the patio. Found out they named this place Sixty Vines because they have 60 wines on tap!!! Whoa. Super cool. Service was excellent and they took great care of us. Food was on point and super impressive, better than I anticipated. Will definitely be back!

My experience at Sixty Wines was bittersweet. It all started poorly with the wines: the first one, a Mary Taylors Castilla y León, was undrinkable. When I told the server, she kindly suggested three more options. To my surprise, each one was worse than the last. Despite being the most expensive on the menu, they all tasted harsh, metallic, and unpleasant. I later discovered the wines were not served directly from the bottle but came from metallic barrels, which likely impacted their quality. I decided to switch gears and ordered a simple Pinot Grigio to avoid further disappointment, which was at least drinkable. However, what truly redeemed the experience was the food: excellent in every way. The dishes were well-presented, plentiful, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The service also stood out. Despite my dissatisfaction with the wines, the server never stopped smiling and went out of her way to offer alternatives, though none of them worked for me. The ambiance and interior design of the restaurant are delightful, but for a place called Sixty Wines, the quality of the wine should be a top priority, and unfortunately, it fell short. One more thing: covid 19 is over, please get printed menus back!

Sixty Vines Downtown offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends elegance with a modern, relaxed vibe. The moment you step in, you're greeted with a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere, featuring contemporary decor with rustic touches that set the perfect mood for a memorable evening.

The menu is a culinary delight, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients with something for everyone. I started with the charcuterie board, which allows you to create your own. I selected Prosciutto di Parma, aged 18 months and full of rich flavor, along with Fra' Mani Salametto Piccante and Soppressata, both expertly seasoned and perfectly balanced. The cheeses were equally impressive, with the Cabot Clothbound cheddar from Vermont and Beemster Aged Gouda from the Netherlands, both pairing beautifully with the house-made ricotta, creamy with a hint of olive oil and cracked pepper. Each bite was a perfect harmony of textures and flavors.

For appetizers, we enjoyed the Chicken and Caviar, an indulgent and unique dish where crispy, tender chicken pairs flawlessly with the luxurious briny pop of caviar. The pan-roasted mussels were equally impressive, perfectly cooked and served in a savory broth that was irresistible, especially with the bread. We also couldn’t resist the bacon-wrapped dates—each bite was a heavenly combination of sweet, smoky, and savory, creating an appetizer that’s both rich and satisfying.

For entrées, the Fig & Prosciutto pizza stood out, with a perfect thin crust topped with a blend of white sauce, mozzarella, and the sweetness of honey, balanced by peppery arugula and sesame seeds. It’s a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The Campanelle pasta, with succulent shrimp, garlic, grape tomatoes, and basil in a light white wine sauce, was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. For something heartier, the Wood-Grilled Bavette Steak was phenomenal—tender and juicy, served with a decadent mushroom shallot confit, crispy fingerling potatoes, and a rich foie gras-zinfandel demi-glace that elevated the entire dish.

For dessert, the Basque Cheesecake was the perfect ending to an extraordinary meal. Caramelized to perfection, this rich cheesecake was complemented beautifully by the tart sweetness of luxardo cherries, creating a balanced and indulgent bite every time.

One of the standout features of Sixty Vines is their commitment to accommodating gluten-sensitive diners. Any dish that uses flour can be substituted with tapioca flour, ensuring that gluten-sensitive guests can enjoy their meal without worry. In addition to their expansive wine selection, they also offer a variety of cocktails and mocktails, ensuring that ABV-sensitive guests have plenty of options to enjoy. The mocktails were refreshingly creative and just as thoughtfully crafted as their cocktails.

The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and friendly. Our server ensured that every aspect of our meal was flawless. Sixty Vines Downtown is a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience, whether for the food, wine, or outstanding ambiance. Every detail was five-star, and I can't...
