Came here two days ago on Saturday morning. Large, spacious and clean park that is along a river. Included is a large playground that has some very cool, clean and modern things to climb on, in and slide out. There is a stage for live music or live performances. They have benches made of old and retired windmill blades and yes they are big!
The paved trail along the river and through the park is the Great Miami River Trail, which I understand is a very long trail. The hiking or walking was an amazing experience that provides great views and people watching. Definitely not a boring trail.
The park also has clean restrooms and plenty of free parking in a lot. The park is dog friendly and on my visit I’ve seen at least one dozen visitors walking one or more dogs. There are also historical markers and plenty of small old school things to look at and touch and just might make good conversation starters.
Wonderful and beautiful park. I’ll come back the next time...

The parking arrangements leave much to be desired!
When there is a band that draws a crowd it is impossible to not have to park blocks away and walk forever to get to the bandstand. There is a huge "Green Space" along the levee that could be utilized as parking for a number of vehicles. This would make the Riverfront Park venue much more attractive to those who have difficulty walking long distances, especially carrying lawn chairs. There have been many bands appearing there that we just passed up going to see due to lack of convenient parking. The band's get an A+. The parking gets a D-. Not an F since there is parking.... you just have to get there three hours early to get a...
Read moreVery nice and new updates to the park. It just opened so there are some new kinks to still workout, but overall, I think that the newest updates are a great and much needed improvement. One thing I'm curious to see is the new stage. The old stage was nice and had plenty of seating for large bands. With this new stage, the sitting area is way tighter and nowhere near as spread out. Again, the stage is nice, but the seating area is going to be cramped and a lot of complaints of it being too loud will be coming because there isn't a lot of space to sit back from the stage for a less loud experience. Check out the old photos and videos of the crowds at the old band shelter/stage, those sized crowds won't work...
