Conveniently located, friendly staff but the hours on Google do not match the hours on the voicemail. Do you open at 10 or 11? I've decided to edit my initial review. Now, I shop at Kraken because it is conveniently located. The shop is about a 3 min walk from my current place of residence. Earlier this week I was rewarded $10.00 off for the 2nd time, This means I've reached 200 points twice. Which also means I've spent $400.00 at Kraken. I've purchased 2 devices, 2 batteries, multiple bottles of E liquid, and a few other products. Now I've been vaping since long before vaping became "cool". Vaping helped me to stop smoking cigarettes in 2016 and I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to different types of devices, coils, batteries....etc....etc. One particular afternoon I was conversing with one of the owners, who I first met not long after her and her husband opened their 2nd location in West Carrolton. Anyway, this one afternoon we were talking at the Miamisburg location and she was mentioning that good help is hard to find these days. Well, I've always wanted to work at a Vape Shop so I said "well, I could work here part time and it wouldn't interfere with my full time job, because I work 3rd shift and her response was "I need a hot girl behind the counter" Now I found this response to be very unprofessional and discriminative. This also let's me know that she chooses looks over knowledge, experience, age, and sexual identity. Well I don't think my experience is like everyone else's,but all the same the people that own this business are nothing short of being an angel in disguise. I don't mind to put my name out there my name is Myron Mullins and I've lived quite the roller coaster lifestyle... I'm an addict and was recently homeless for almost a year. I learned a lot about myself and a lot about society and the most caring people in the world are sometimes the ones we least expect. If you want to go to a place of business and buy something from someone who is an all-around good person and a genuine person who will treat you with love and respect then I recommend you go to this vape shop. I haven't had the chance to thank her in person but I will one day I'm in recovery right now and have been for the past couple months but when I was down on my luck and had nobody to even use a phone or reach your hand out to me the young lady that works there was open arms and did her best to help me in every way and I just want to thank her and her family and tell them what wonderful human beings they are if it wasn't for people like this I don't know if I would have ever gotten sober so thank you and this will be the first place I go to buy My Vapes and feel like I'm treated like a human being and not a monster because of my past. So my boyfriend and I just starting vaping about a week ago. And I will say this is one of the best vape shops that I have ever been too. Because before I decided to actually go to them and purchase from them I actually checked a couple other stores and I just think this vape store I'd great. They take their time explain things to you and are just so knowledgeable. And they really do want to help you find something that works for you and don't try to sell you on tons of things.The guy that I talked to both times is very knowledgeable and very nice and it's super helpful. I think their prices are actually quite decent as well. If you're someone that's just starting to vapor or have been vaping for a while I think this is the place to go out of any other place. Will definitely keep going back to them and I really appreciate and thank them so much for how nice, patient, and knowledgeable they were about their products.
