It's nice to have a park for the kids to skate, but it seems like the city is treating it as a "set and forget" amenity. The men's bathroom lock is completely gone, every inch of the bathroom wall has been spray painted, the pavilion (if that's what you want to call it) has also been spray painted as well as the ramps and walls around the park. There is a security camera there but I'm pretty sure it's just for show considering how relaxed the group of kids that showed up with spray paint seemed. They walked up like it was something usual they did and just started spraying the walls some more.
Also, for families that have children of multiple ages it is not a very good setup. The skate park has no gate leading to the playground area and it is quite a distance between the two for smaller children.
