First of all, their "20 percent off popcorn" bags were still $14 for a small bag. That's outrageous.

Secondly, when we asked if we could get a Mexican Hot Chocolate with a shot of espresso in it, the girl said "yes." We said "OK, we'll do that." She then asks us if we wanted whipped cream on it, and again, we say "yes, please." After giving us our total ($24 something for two drinks and a small bag of popcorn) we confirmed that we had espresso in the Hot Chocolate, right? Nope. Despite responding to our question and us saying that we would take "one of those."

On top of that - no whipped cream on the drink, either.

I get that places are short staffed. Help is at a premium, but these two girls were kind of rude to begin with, and I think the radiation from the massive NUCLEAR SILO RIGHT NEXT DOOR has leaked and got into their heads because between the two of them, they may have had the competence to tie their shoes.

That being said - the drinks were quite good. Just the servers were rude and incompetent. 2 stars because the coffees were super good. Just everything else was a...

I paid $12 for what might be the most disheartening sandwich experience of my life. South Bend Chocolate Café served up a BLT so minimal it felt like a prank. Two lonely strips of bacon, two small tomato slices, and a single limp leaf of lettuce—all sandwiched between two damp pieces of toast. No flavor, no effort, no justification for the price. The sandwich itself cried for me.

It wasn’t just thin—it was emotionally thin.

I can also see where the franchise owner replied to someone asking "which location, we have fountain drinks not bottled root beer".

That's absolute hogwash, they have bottled beverages, including root beer from Jones soda. Heck, you can see the coolers in someone else's photo. So the franchise owner will...

The two kids they had working didn't greet me when I came in. I went up to the counter and neither of them said hello when I did. They didn't ask me what I wanted, just stared at me silently. I think they need to be better trained in customer service. The chai was so watered down, but syrupy, I was not given the mall employee discount when I told them I worked out here (they usually offer employees 10%) and felt incredibly uncomfortable and unwanted in this setting. I used to love coming here, but the prices are ridiculous and the service is falling in quality. And it's a slow Tuesday, at that! They need to be better about engaging with the...

Interesting flavors of popcorn. Got 1 of the peanut butter and the last maple pecan. Also had a couple sandwiches, the Reuben and the kids grilled chicken sandwich. Sandwiches seemed small but had lots of flavor and were actually very filling, comes with a pickle and bag of chips. Turtle cheesecake was pretty good. We were asked if we wanted caramel or chocolate drizzle on the cheesecake but they forgot to give it to us. Looks like some staff was in training. We ended up waiting a bit for our food but overall it was worth it.
