The paranormal investigation event with NJ ROPE was pretty freaking cool. Got to learn a little history of the buildings and paired off into teams of 3-4 people to "investigate" with equipment provided. We got to explore the house (with a lot of rooms), carriage house, barn, listen to past captured evidence and even investigate the cemetery across the street. At the end of the night, we got a debriefing on evidence captured that night. Even though I am a native, this was my first time here. So the event gave me a glimpse into the the actual museum itself. The lady at the front desk gave us a cold ‘What can I do for you?’ reception and told us with great conviction to come back early the next day because their guided tour is ‘absolutely worth it’. Did we...
