Ignored, misjudged, neglected, and even talked trash, about this place. I regret, EVERYTHING! A&LP, occasionally Russo's. Is the only two places in Cape May County. That I'll ever want, a cheesesteak & fries. Because they'll give you, what you pay for. Not a ketchup & cheese sandwich. Everything is about the bread first, of course. The quality, quantity, & obviously taste, should follow. The steak, definitely isn't frozen; prime baby! And the way its cooked. Brought back memories of growing up, in North Philly. Well this establishment, is truly official! Dont sleep, on this place here! Looks could be very, deceiving! They're sandwiches, are stuffed. The chicken tenders? Ohh wow! Fries? Staying in Stone Harbor for a week and I’ve already gone to Steaks Shakes and Cakes twice. Ordered dine-in once and ordered online for take-out the second time. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Online ordering was easy, and multiple options for sauces/sides made it very easy to customize the order (and I loved that I could put in a pick up time, and was notified when it was ready).

For food the family has ordered cheesesteaks (The Dirty and Buff), Wings (mild and bang bang both “well done” for extra crispiness) as well as cheese fries (whiz on the side). Everything was PHENOMENAL. The fries alone are exceptional. Portions are generous, and I have a family that can EAT.
