Atlantic Medical Imaging at Cooper Cape May Route 9 — Local services in Middle Township

This place is ridiculous. I made an appointment, received several emails and texts confirming the appointment, filled out the forms. I then received a text saying my appointment was going to be canceled due to lack of authorization. I then received a phone call confirming my appointment. Confused, I tried to call to confirm, was on hold for 29 minutes, nobody would answer the phone. I show up for my appointment and was sent away because of the text about authorization. When I showed them my confirmation email and told them about my confirmation phone call two minutes after the text they just looked dumbfounded with no explanation. I told them I tried to call the day before but nobody answered the phone and was told it was a central station whatever that means. So, I'm supposed to ignore all confirmations through three different medium but believe a text when I cannot back it up with a phone call and all I receive in response is a shoulder shrug. What a...

I was scheduled for a pet scan today at AMI in Somers Point. I was greeted by a technician named Catherine and prepped for my test. She was kind, gentle and caring about my nervousness and uncertainty for the scan. She gave me an iv of the isotope taking into consideration that I am a hard stick and tried to make sure she didn’t cause anymore pain than necessary. Once in the very claustrophobic machine, she popped in and out to make sure that I was ok. I usually go to AMI in cape May court House every three months where I am always greeted warmly and treated with kindness and respect. I was certainly surprised that their warmth and professionalism is spread across the the whole company. Thank you Catherine and Luci and Theresa (Terri) and all the wonderful people who work for AMI. Atlantic Medical Imaging was a totally positive experience. The moment I entered, Sabrina, a Front Desk Associate, noticed me and immediately called over to me and took care of me, getting me signed in, signing forms, recording my insurance information, checking my script, taking my co-pay and providing me with a receipt. Sabrina was very efficient, energetic and helpful. It took a minute or less before I was called in for my tests by Cara, a Front Desk Associate. Cara was relaxed, easy going, friendly, and clear in her instructions. She made doing the test a positive experience. She is the type of person I would want to spend more time with in a different setting. Even after exiting the building, there is signage outside pointing people to the direction to go in to drive back to Route 9.
