This is a new restaurant so there’s still a bit of work getting the kinks worked out with operations, but overall the service was “okay”.
Placed a mobile order about an hour earlier with a pickup time of 6:45PM. Arrived around 6:40 and saw a line of about 20 cars in the drive through, so I went inside. Overheard a gentleman saying, “They just locked the doors” as I was heading towards the store, and found out yes, they locked the main double doors (with customers inside). The side door was unlocked and I went in. Shortly after getting in line of about 15 people, another employee taped “Drive Through Only” on both doors. Waited in line for about 10 minutes while occasionally hearing people try to enter (and exit) through the locked doors. Some people that tried to enter went back to the drive through, some still came inside, some just left.
After getting to the front of the line (10 minutes past pickup time), I told them my mobile order and they brought the food and placed it in a bag. They weren’t sure of the sided I ordered, so I told them, and they prepared them as well. They didn’t include the cup, so I asked them politely and they gave me one. They didn’t include the sauces I ordered, but I didn’t think too much of it since they were slammed.
Onto the food, it was delicious! The blackened chicken was delicious and seasoned well, and the fries and biscuit I were told were tasty as well.
My main takeaway is that when the store gets a full staff and all the bugs worked out, pickup via app will be fast, and there’s not going to be much confusion on drive...

I told her what kind I wanted for the one order and she quickly grabbed two and slammed them into the paper bag. At that point I didn't want to ask for the kind of sauce I wanted. We took our seats. The tables were not cleaned. I tried the coleslaw and had to return it because it was tainted. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was made with a powdered cheese that clumped up. The chicken could not have been fried in the right temp ,it was grease laden and pink on the inside. Mashed potoates of course were instant. The biscuit was perfectly delicious and the only edible part of the meal. $27.00 is alot to pay for two biscuts. I don't know who was in charge of the lemonade mixing from the machine but the mix was wrong and very powdery tasting.
As I sat at the table with my guest other customers arrived. One of which also had a problem getting sauce. From overhearing conversations it was clear, there were many dissatisfied patrons. I should of just went to acme for their fried chicken and coleslaw or taken a few minutes drive to Bongustos pizzeria on 47 where I could have gotten great fried chicken with sides at a fraction of the cost. Because of my experience at this location.I will never do any business with this company again if this is the people that they hire especially for management. I placed an order online and accidentally placed it at Atlantic City as the app doesn't recognise your location as every other app I have used for other fast food chains. I explained this to the manager who grabbed my phone and said you could just go on the app and cancel the order. He then explained he didn't know how to work my phone so he said ther was nothing he could do and walked away. At that point I was trying to find a way to cancel the order when he came over and asked me if I had touched his computer behind the counter as he was trying to do something on it and I guess it wasn't working. Apparently he knows how to use the computer there about as well as he did my phone. I told him I hadn't touched the computer and he then told me to go sit down and try to fix my order. I guess he thought I was in the way but I was the only person there at that time. Also the app was useless as it doesn't allow you to cancel the order.
