Koch Florist & Gifts — Attraction in Middletown Township

Have ordered from this florist for a long time. I bought one bouquet and they sent one that vaguely looks like it with completely different flowers. The woman I spoke to tried to convince me there was no issue because the new flowers were roses- I did not want roses. Then, to get a replacement I would have to make my mother drive out of her way, or have someone take the flowers from my mother's home with no replacement origin ally offered, or have me drive them over to get replaced. When I stated I live in a different state the woman tried to call me a liar. I do live in a different state. According to Koch, putting a succulent in the listing and highlighting it in the description, and then having no succulent in the real thing because they "never put succulents in bouquets so they do not die" is not considered false advertising. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I send flowers to family from Michigan to New Jersey often, read about this place and thought I would give it a try. I have had great experiences at other flower shops and so I did not think it there be an issue. The owner called me because he couldn't find directions to her home. Her home is around a populated area (concern one about the shop), then he insisted I give him her contact information, even though this was a surprise gift, I told him this is a surprise and would not feel comfortable giving out her information and offered to help him with directions and he yelled at me and hung up. When I called back to the store he answered and was short with me and eventually hung up again. I am so disappointed in this encounter and will never ever use the shop again. The flowers are great. The service is good unless you call up and end up speaking to the owner's husband. His phone etiquette is terrible. He's curt and downright nasty. I have NEVER had a problem dealing with anyone else in the shop. He has screwed up two delivery orders of mine in the past and when I just tried to place an order for a specific delivery time (4 pm), he made every effort to not do it -- "we can do it earlier? Is anyone going to be home? Can we just leave it?" When I asked what the problem was in delivering at the time I asked for, he didn't have an answer. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said "this is her husband". When I said, "you seem to always be a problem", he hung up on me.

Word of advice, If a man picks up the phone when you call, hang up and go elsewhere! I intend to go somewhere else from...
