CVS — Attraction in Midland Park

RUDE. I literally stood online which the associate came behind the desk to answer the phone, then left to punch in a code on self check out, then went and spoke to someone on the sale floor - meanwhile did not say one word to me. If you don’t feel like ringing and don’t want to provide those services you need to A) tell your paying customer or B) but a sign that all your registers just so happen to be closed and the only option of self check out. This comes down to management. Associates attitudes need to be in check. It’s unacceptable to be in customer service and not even mutter the words hello to a PAYING CUSTOMER. If you were watching the cameras from the back you would have just seen all of this happen. Be the difference. Be present with customers and managing associates. They can easily ruin your store under your nose. I only have this place 1 star because it wasn’t an option...

While I find things are typically in stock and clean here, this review is specifically for the pharmacists. I haven’t had such horrid customer service since I moved out of the city. I’m not sure if it comes down to work conditions or what, but I leave every time feeling as though I’ve somehow ruined their day. The grouchy demeanor and unwillingness to return even a hello or a smile is really off putting. Last night I visited trying to purchase a Covid test and had a simple question about insurance… I was told coldly to “go to drop off” where there wasn’t a soul to be found. After realizing no one would be coming to help, I paid out of pocket for the test insurance was supposed to cover at the front checkout. Seriously, something...

I took a 2 hour drive into this area from NY to drop my son off at a week long camp. This was the closest cvs to for us to stop and get him some Claritin for his allergies. We showed up at 8am at the time the store was supposed to open. I was waiting outside the doors with 3 other people. There was a worker sitting in his car also waiting to get inside. When I asked if he could open the store he said he had to wait for his supervisor. We waited until 8:15 before we had to finally leave to catch my son’s bus to camp. When I pulled out there was still no sign of the supervisor. Needless to say my son had to get on the bus without the few things he needed. I’ve never experienced such nonsense at a big named retail...
