Nice small playground. The walking path is in great shape and suitable for anything with wheels from strollers to wheelchairs and bikes. According to my running watch, one loop is a half a mile, so this is a great place to train if you're a runner and don't have a fancy way to track your miles. Academy Park has several baseball diamonds, a basketball area, and a large open field that I imagine is for soccer or open grassy sports play. There is a lot of parking, too. The shelter house has picnic tables as well as restrooms. The circular walking path in the park veers off in two directions that will take you up towards Morse, including an entrance into the neighborhood between the park and Morse OR the other path will take you to Woodside Green Park or Nob Hill (a neighborhood road). Google maps accurately shows the paths, so don't worry about getting lost. I have taken all of these paths with children and a stroller and it was doable. It is a BEAUTIFUL place to walk. The actual playground at Academy Park is smaller, but nice. I find it suitable for lower elementary and up, but I don't think I'd want my toddler on it, just yet. My biggest 2 complaints are baseball season which brings crowds, but hey, we gotta share the park!! & then sun/shade situation. These don't make the park bad at all, but in the summer heat the black pavement and sun can be seriously HOT for a runner, so you'll wanna time your runs around the sun and the baseball crowds! The heat and crowds also only matters if you wanna do the loop, if you plan to go off into the wooded nature-y paths, it should be quite shaded...

Quite a few baseball fields and a nice playground here for approximately 5 to 12 year olds. It has a tall slide, climbing stuff, and swings. It's a nice place, not necessarily for younger toddlers. Nice paved trail around the park connecting to the local trail and good space to fly a kite or take out an r/c car or something. Overall, nice place to go but if you're looking for a playground for toddlers or more options, check out Blendon...

It's a big pretty park. There's a few baseball diamonds and a little playground along with a concession stand. I went here to watch my little brother play baseball and I didn't like that they only had a homeplate umpire. Lot's of bad calls on bases but the field was nice. They should have a net on the back side of field so the foul balls don't keep going into the woods but not too...

A nice paved path, partly in the sun and the other part shaded. You can park in Academy Park’s lot and enjoy the trail from there, or park at Woodside Green Park and make it a longer walk. There are baseball fields and a playground here also.

Regularly use this park to walk my dogs and play Pokemon Go. Paved trails are great. Nice restroom facility and baseball diamond. The playground is a lot of fun for smaller kids with slides and climbing apparatus.
