Went here for the first time ever. I've passed by it 100xs of times.. always telling myself I was going to check it out one day! Well today was that day! I did my research.. made sure they were open! I get there and the lady tells me she isn't giving tours today, that they don't give them everyday. I commented and said I read you were open until 2PM. She insisted we come back another day. We started talking some more and she decided to give us a walk around the first floor. Gave a little brief description about each room. Enjoyed finding out that one of their New furniture pieces, as I'm an interior designer, is a piece that Abraham Lincoln once sat on. Loved the 5 minute tour of what we could see. Hopefully, one day, another day, I can get the full tour!

Visited the Promont House during one of their Christmas Open House weekends. I have not been there for years and things have changed for the better. The entire house was open and accessible except for the basement. New to me we're the servant quarters on the third floor and the turret lookout room. There were plenty of docents to answer questions and the place was fully decorated for the Holidays. Lots of history and fun games as ways to get facts in your head. The Promont House is a real Milford gem so do not drive by but visit when you get the chance.

What a wonderful experience we had on Saturday for a baby shower. We wanted to do an afternoon tea and got more than we could have expected. The venue is lovely with lots of free parking. The food was excellent and was served to us by the knowledgeable museum volunteers. There was plenty of room for our guests and plenty of time to browse through the house. Thank you to all

Where do I start?! My sisters and I hosted a 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Promont House in September 2018. Kim was my first point of contact and she was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for our celebration. She was quick to answer questions and offer solutions for concerns. The booking process was easy and I felt we were in great hands from the beginning. The day of the event, Kim arrived early to set up and open the house for us. Her and her associate Lisa went WAY above and beyond for our family! They set up dining area, helped decorate, ironed linens and so on. They even set up the buffet for us during the vow renewal ceremony so guest could come right in and start enjoying themselves! Kim and Lisa worked extremely hard to make sure my parents and guests had the best experience possible. I can't express how grateful we are to them....

Kim is AMAZING!!!! My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Promont. Kim was perfect in every way. She met with us beforehand in the late evenings. She was there to help us set up the night before. She was there during our entire ceremony, helping to do last minute set up. She went above and beyond in every way! She set up a docent to show us this historic place. Kim made our wedding day perfect! Kim is a wonderful human being and a total asset to Promont. We will cherish our time together and remember our time with Kim and Promont...
