Concerning Krogers: I went into Milford Ohio Kroger on 10/25/18 between 12-1:00 am. I have various injuries and medical issues so I use their electric scooters which I am grateful for. There was aprox 10 items in my cart, I spent about 45 min in the store. When I came up to the checkout I asked the associate if he had a regular chekout open he replied no. I said I did not wish to ring myself out his response, they close the regular checkouts it at 11p.
I did not feel at that time that I should need to explain that it would have been difficult for me. I then asked for a manager which he said there were none, I asked for the person in charge of the shift his answer was there was no one. So I pulled the scooter up and left leaving the items. Keeping in mind there were no other customers up front at that time. I was pretty upset for the waste of time and not getting items needed. The next day I called Kroger's corporate, after no help from the 1st person I had to request 3 different times to be sent to someone higher up. That was even more frustrating in she kept justifying the actions of the store saying they close down the regular checkouts after a certain hour. And she seemed unconcerned over the employee lying about them having no one in charge (which she even said there is always someone there in charge). And seeing they completely avoided the idea that the attendant could have offered to ring me up at the uscan I did not bother mentioning it, as the idea of them pursuing it would have just led to further insult. So if you are disabled or for any other reason you do not or can not ring up your own groceries stay out of Krogers...
Read moreWhen we lived in Milford this was my favorite store. Fast forward 5 yrs. I no longer live in Milford but stopped there on my way home for a few things. The store was dirty, the quality of the produce was terrible. I look a chance and bought a couple things. The pineapple was bad and the grapes seemed okay but the one's on the bottom were mushy like they had been frozen. The young man working in the deli was clueless. I asked him for regular Kahns bologna sliced thin, I got Kahns Garlic Bolonga and it definitely wasn't thin sliced. I told him again I wanted regular Kahns bologna sliced thin, I did get the right bologna but it was actually sliced thick. I just gave up and left it. I was having a hard time finding maraschino cherries and ask a young woman who works there. Her reply was "I don't know" and started to walk away. I asked her "is there someone else who might know? ( Finding anyone who worked there was a challenge) Her answer again was I don't know. Definitely my last time of shopping Milford Lila...
Read moreI was a loyal Kroger shopper for 20 years. In the last two years. I stopped regular grocery shopping here. I every few months I’ll go back down there to see if anything is different because I like that it’s close and I do appreciate some of the private selection brand foods. However nothings has changed it’s been several months since I’ve visited the store went there this morning. Store is very cramped as is and then the click list shoppers take up the whole aisle they don’t even attempt to move out of your way there were people stocking shelves which I understand has to be done at different times but this is kind of a peak time on Saturday morning boxes blocking 3 different aisles. Seems to me the boxes could be easily swing to the side of the aisle so that grocery carts could still go down the aisle. The employees that work the floor here are so rude and look at you like you are in their way and they’re mad that you’re there. The only thing positive about this store are the cashiers. I won’t be back...
