Bland. Mediocre. Boring. No character.

We didn't finish our salsa, we usually get at least one additional round of chips and salsa. The food was flavorless! Our premium margaritas were the star of the meal. People who like NO seasoning or spice or char would like this place. We trusted the overwhelmingly positive reviews and spent our anniversary dinner severely disappointed. I sent back the steak and ordered fajitas. Neither had flavor. Both were fatty. I really wonder if they cut my original streak and used it as the fajita steak. The photo shows the fajita ratio of meat to onions and peppers. No manager visited after we sent food back to the kitchen. 20 bucks per meal. We were the only customers at 2pm on a Saturday. I ordered a beef burrito and my wife got a chicken chimichangas plate. The food came in under 3 minutes which my wife immediately said was a bad sign. I took a bite of my beef burrito and it literally tasted like slightly warm Chef Boyardee. It was clear the taco meat came from a can and the bland sauces came from a can. Our food was warm but our plates were lava hot. I actually burned my finger touching the plate. Our food was obviously just microwaved. We went to Maya with a party of 5. We were sat fairly quickly. We got our drinks within about 5 minutes of being sat. We then sat at our table with menus for another 50 minutes with no further service until we decided we were going to go else where. In this time the table next to us was able to order and get their food (while be it an incorrect order) we went to the register to pay for our drinks prior to leaving and we weren't offered an apology or anything) so we left and went to dos Amigos in milford and got great service!
