SafeSplash Swim School - Mill Creek — Attraction in Mill Creek

I had a really awful experience here. They took my money, then refused to explain the things that are so unclear on their website, they have really bad customer service, and didn't do a single thing to help me get back on schedule for a different lesson. Why steal the money instead of getting me on board to spend even more money at your establishment? It's a hard thing for me to wrap my head around. Their refusal to help is just mind boggling. I haven't been sour with anyone, I've shown nothing but respect with all of my questions, even when they didn't answer or gave non-answers. My questions weren't demeaning or ridiculous or anything of the sort. I just wanted a solution. This review is the most cross I've been through it all. I was never angry during any conversation with them, but they still chose to be nasty to me. Why? My feelings are hurt and my wallet is empty, I paid a large payment to be talked down to. I just don't get it at all. I've never had an experience like this anywhere ever in all my 48 years. I wish I could get a resolution to all this, hell, even more lessons there aren't off the table if they choose to do the right thing. I see some other reviews having similar experiences, and I am STILL willing to give them another shot. I doubt they'll accept, now that I have read the other reviews, but I guess...

I couldn’t be happier with our experience at SafeSplash Swim School! From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that safety and individualized attention were their top priorities. The small class sizes allowed my child to get plenty of one-on-one instruction, and the teachers are incredibly patient and supportive.

What I love most is how structured the curriculum is—it’s designed to build confidence and skills step by step.

A huge shout-out to coaches Zoe and Juh Yung—they are absolutely fantastic! Both bring so much patience, encouragement, and energy to every class. Zoe’s warm approach makes kids feel instantly comfortable, while Juh Yung’s clear guidance and positivity motivate them to push a little further each time.

One of the standout features is their makeup class system. If you need to miss a class, they offer tokens so you can easily schedule a makeup class at a time that works for you. It’s incredibly flexible and takes the stress out of missing lessons due to other commitments.

The facility itself is clean and well-maintained.

If you're looking for a swim school that combines fun with top-notch instruction and excellent flexibility, I highly recommend SafeSplash. The progress we've seen has been amazing, and I can’t wait to watch my child continue to grow...

I would not recommend enrolling your child in this school if you are looking for regular classes and a stress-free experience. I have two kids enrolled in this school with two different trainers, and each time there is a cancellation, I receive a text message stating that my child's class has been canceled without any information on whose class has been canceled. I have to call the school to get information on which classes are canceled and which ones are still on.

For canceled classes, they offer makeup tokens that can be used to schedule makeup classes through their website. However, when I log in, there are no makeup classes available for the next two weeks. Since January, we have had about 10 cancellations, and there is no refund for the canceled classes - only makeup tokens. I had to individually ask them to refund me for classes that could not be made up due to the unavailability of slots.

Overall, the cost is expensive, and the experience is stressful, making it not worthwhile. We are only still enrolled because there are no other options, and the school year is almost over. However, we will not be returning...
