J. Nunez Gallery — Attraction in Millburn

Jesus Nunez truly makes one-of-a-kind pieces, pieces that bring vibrance and elegance to a room and make people talk. I had the pleasure of visiting his gallery after viewing one of my desired pieces on his website, and believe me when I say the photo I saw didn't do it justice. In person the colors and paint literally leapt off the canvas, changing tint and hue as I walked around the piece. Additionally, upon viewing other stunning pieces I found an additional sculpture piece I couldn't live without! Not only is his art something to write about, Jesus is a PLEASURE to work with. He is sincerely concerned in helping you find (or create) art that you love and his passion for his craft is contagious. From start to finish, working with Jesús was such a positive experience. This was our first time visiting a gallery to buy art for our home, and Jesús made it easy. He accommodated our schedule by opening his gallery on a Saturday morning, and when our babysitter canceled, he also accommodated our two young children. He showed us a variety of pieces that would work for our space, many of which appealed to us. Once we selected one, he coordinated framing and delivered the painting to our home. We can’t stop staring at it and love that our first floor now has a colorful, textured focal point. While our painting is by Jesús, we also appreciate his commitment to showing the work of female, primarily local artists in his gallery. This is one of the best local galleries I've been to; contains a wonderful variety of unique contemporary artwork that isn't always easy to find in this area. I spotted some interesting pieces from the street at the Millburn location and immediately had an appointment when I called the next day. Jesús is amazing to work with. He took time to listen to what we were looking for, make suggestions for our space using AR photography, and lent us the pieces we were considering so that we could see how they looked in our home. We ended up purchasing a piece by Drew Griffiths and two by Calina Hiriza.
