Let me preface this by saying that I'm not from New Jersey originally so I do not have the local bias. I've also traveled and eaten a lot of different pizza in my life. I just had lunch here and it was quite possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten, and this is not an exaggeration. The crust was a nice, even thickness and doneness throughout, with the edges just starting to get that light singe on them from the oven. The sauce and crushed tomatoes were clearly high quality and had perfect seasoning and texture. The vegetables (bell peppers, onions) were cooked nicely, softened but still with enough snap to provide texture. The soppresata was perfectly seasoned and not overly salty. The cheese was perfectly proportioned throughout the whole pizza and didn't overwhelm the toppings. Up to this point, my experience with pizza in New Jersey had been largely underwhelming, with most places making me say "this was good pizza, but nothing special and doesn't live up to the classic Jersey hype". Fiamma is only the second joint I've eaten at in New Jersey to live up to this hype. Aside from the food quality which was exceptional, the service was VERY quick and friendly (arrived around 12:30pm on a Tuesday so it was during a normal lunch rush), and the prices were respectable for what you...

We used to come here all the time, so while visiting family at the hospital, we decided to stop by for a trip down memory lane. The food is still as amazing as we remembered, but unfortunately, the current staff left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the service was abrupt and unfriendly.
We requested a simple bucket of ice for our BYOB, which was forgotten. When we politely asked a second waitress, she seemed annoyed by the request. We even felt the need to compliment her just to ease the tension. Toward the end of our visit, the staff began clearing our table without even asking if we were finished. They removed our wine bottle from the bucket, assuring us there was nothing left—when in fact, we still had wine. We had to ask for cups just to finish it.
This all happened on 10/22 from 7:15-8:30 pm. Management, please ensure that no one else has to experience such a negative encounter. Great food deserves great...
Read moreI assume I just spoke with the Owner - I placed an order for delivery an hour back and with my kids allergy to dairy asked if they would accept a large Margherita order with half of it with no cheese and add pepperoni with the other half regular margherita. The lady gladly accepted the order. When I got down to serving the pizza I see the pepperoni is on the side with the cheese. I called and the person who picked up first asks me if I explained my order correctly in the first place, second his offer is I cannot do anything tonight to serve your daughter dinner (it was still 15 mins to their official close time) but you come pick it up tomorrow if you want it ‘on the house’ so you can check if it’s done right. I told him I will never order from them again (I was a regular). Pitiful and all I’ll say is if you have kids with allergy - skip this place they place no trust in themselves to deliver right! And the attitude is just...
