I don’t like to speak badly of any worker, as I understand we all have our days because I’m in the same situation as the rest of us, but WOW today myself and my friend dealt with the rudest woman I have ever come across in any Sephora. Usually anyone at Sephora is super helpful, and kind when you ask for a sample. Today, when asking for a sample, this woman (who seemed to be a manager of some sort as she was in a suit) walked past us without even looking at us and said to meet her over by a station and to hurry up because they were closing soon. We grabbed our color foundation, totally fine with hurrying up cause we get it, she’s trying to leave and that’s cool, so we went over to her, and the entire time made it her duty to make sure we knew she was in a rush to get us out of there, and upset over us asking for a sample of foundation. She also swapped the foundation samples (myself and my friend are completely different skin tones) and proceeded to tell us that we were wrong on the color we chose for my friend (she is a medium olive tone) and that she should try the sample I PICKED OUT (a very pale neutral tone) instead.. And when we said can you please just give us the sample she chose out she, once again, made it her duty to whisper under her breath that my friend didn’t pick out the right shade.. I just.. LOL, like jeez I have never experienced such a laughable encounter at a Sephora before. This woman needs some a day off or something because she was ridiculous. I’ll stick to my home town Sephora, won’t be coming back...
Read moreThe customer service I had received from Adriane (sorry if I misspelled her name) was unbelievable. I had been looking around for the Dior Lip Oil and she had came up and asked if I needed assistance, which I did because I didn't see the color I wanted. Unfortunately they didn't have it (and were sold out of other popular/viral items) but nonetheless, she had searched high and low and on the end-caps as well for the product I wanted.
Once we couldn't find it, she did recommend other similar items and had helped me find an under eye concealer. On one eye, she had used one sample shade with a prep serum from Peter Thomas Roth, and the other without the serum in a different concealer shade. Her recommendation with the serum + the concealer shade was FABULOUS. She did a fantastic job color matching the concealer.
She was super helpful with finding other items I needed around the store as well. Overall, Adriane was great to work with!
For the store itself, it's chaotic and usually pretty busy but the staff is very helpful. They're always willing to check to see if you can order out of stock items online if they're not in-store, and they do carry a lot of variations of products in-store (i.e. different shades, formulas, travel sizes vs. full size items, etc.). The only thing that really grosses me out are the samples on displays - they all look really old, overused, and crusty, but the store is...
Read moreWhen I got there, I already knew what I wanted to buy, but I was just looking to see if I could get something else. As per usual, employees kept asking if I was OK and if I need help and I said no every time, thank you and they just kept walking. Minutes later, I got approached by another Employee and she insisted to help me even though I said I was OK. I didn’t wanna be rude, so I just listened to whatever she had to say for more than 10 minutes. I said to myself OK I will listen and then I would just keep doing whatever I was doing because like I said, I don’t wanna be Rude and I know that’s part of the job. I wish employees knew when to stop because I was not comfortable at all. She took out some of the stuff I had on my shopping bag and added the ones that she wanted me to buy. At this point, I just let everything happen and minutes after I put everything back and took whatever I wanted to buy… I am sorry, I am an introvert person and don’t like to be bothered, i know it is part of the job to ask and help but If I say I am ok, just understand and...
