My family and I have always enjoyed staying at an Embassy Suites. Actually, just this past September of 2022 was the last time my sister's and stayed in an Embassy Suites near San Francisco, CA. We had such a great time. The hotel was newly remodeled. We didn't have to pay for parking. That was included. Also, it is nice to have a hot breakfast every morning. There was such a variety to pick from. It was very organized. There was freshly made homemade oatmeal with variations of toppings to choose from. When it came to ordering an omelette, there was a written list of toppings to choose from. There was also a nice variety of soft danishes, donuts and different types of breads to choose from. There was also variations of potatoes. They had spicy potatoes and another type of just plain potatoes with onions. They also had fresh hot mini pancakes and hot french toast to choose from. I loved how they had bacon and sausage to choose from. I am not a breakfast sausage person. So, it was really nice to be able to pick bacon. There was a nice variety of teas and coffee, as well as juices and milks too. I love how I was able to have almond milk with my chamomile tea with these little jars of honey! It was really, really nice. Now, just so you know, I am a local to Milpitas, CA. So, the Embassy Suites is literally in my back yard. I have been to this hotel on numerous times. I have always recommend this Embassy Suites to my friends and family over the years. We stayed there from Friday Dec. 2-4th, 2022. We took our grandchildren there for a fun sleep over and to swim! They have always loved the hot tub there. It was really nice, newly remodeled like the other one we stayed in. For starts, They made us pay for parking which is $18.00 a night. I said we are parked in handicap, so they discounted us to $10. I asked to get a room on a high level, they offered to charge us $15.00 each night. At the other Embassy Suites we didn't get charged an extra $15 just to stay on a high floor. Then, when we said we have a service dog, they told us we couldn't stay on a higher floor, they brought us back down to a lower floor. I made sure they took off the $15 per night charge on top what we were already quoted when I booked it in advance. So I thought at least after all that, breakfast the next morning was going to be worth it all. It was definitely less than desirable. My grandson asked for pancakes. So we went to the buffet of already made eggs and potatoes, ect. There were no pancakes, just barely warm, hard french toast, There was no bacon, only sausage. He couldn't even eat the potatoes because there was only spicy potatoes available. So he asked if he could have a donut and some fruit. We picked a donut out for him. When it came to the fruit, only two types of melon, nothing else. The donut was so hard, he couldn't even bite into it. My six year old grandson asked if he could have some cereal then? So I got him some cereal, but there was only 2% milk and no almond milk available for him. Being that he is lactose intolerant. He had to eat dry cereal. Luckily, I had packed him a variety of his favorite things to eat for the next two days prior to us arriving there! When it came to ordering an omelette for myself. There was no menu list of toppings to add to my egg whites. So I asked the ladies there that were making my omelette, but there was such a language barrier, I had a very hard time understanding what was on the list of toppings! They only had single packages of instant oatmeal and no toppings. There was not even a full roll of toilet paper in our room. And no extra either. Our room was so hot, we couldn't adjust the temp. We literally had to keep the sliding door open day and night and it was raining. They have no room service available. Thank goodness we ordered out! They took the hot tub out!! The next morning we went to IHOP!! We will never be coming back to this Embassy Suites again unless there are big...

Short Review: This place is Terrible. Rooms outdated, no housekeeping, self parking is expensive, and no room service/food service, HVAC is Impossible, breakfast food staff closes early, but if you like to get asked on a date by their cooks, you will enjoy the egg station. DONT Stay Here. ||Long Review: I am a Hilton diamond member and stay at many places throughout the year. My last stay was Feb 2023 here. Prior to the pandemic this place was great. After the pandemic, Absolutely terrible. I stayed for 7 nights. and requested house keeping to which i was informed would only happen on my 4th night. THIS IS WAY DIFFERENT FROM THE EMBASSY SUITES IN WALNUT CREEK 30 MIN AWAY. Note that most Hiltons will provide housekeeping upon request. I was informed that management at each hotel makes this choice. So I waited. on the 4th night, no housekeeping because they forgot. And then the rest of the nights no one was able to get to the room due to staff shortages. Keep in mind, other rooms were completed. The room had cosmetic damage, the washing machines didn't work so I had to take laundry off site, the restaurant didn't deliver room service. All of these amenities are up to hotel management to restore after the pandemic and you can tell that they don't care about their guest experience. ||I Talked to the front desk manager who said there was nothing she could do about housekeeping, room service, or room issues. All she could offer me was fresh towels and a 20 dollar credit. and in reality its not her fault. Hotel Management above her doesn't care so why should she? I would also like to note that because of the lack of housekeeping the hallways look like one giant trash walkway. People leave old door dash food, room trash, dirty towels and more outside their door for pickup and it DOESNT GET PICKED UP FOR DAYS! ||Pandemic is over, the rooms are fully booked and while 1 or 2 people leaving trash outside their room was ok in 2020 its not ok when the whole floor smells of trash and dirty towels. ||Lets Talk about the Room Once you get in, First of all if its winter, the room is BAKING HOT, its because of their "two pipe system" pretty much Management doesn't care about you, so they aren't going to upgrade their system from 1920 something. so I had to turn off the system (which just meant that hot air would come out a little less forceful from the vent) and open the sliding door to the outside. ||Lastly, Breakfast is the main feature of any hotel and this place has a full hot breakfast, but good luck kids. I stayed for business, and would meet co-workers for breakfast. Many of our female co-workers were uncomfortable going to the egg station because the cooks kept asking them for dates or drinks. SOO the men had to get the eggs. they close the breakfast at least 30 minutes early so you have to ask the staff for many things like butter, jelly, bagels, hot water etc because they pack all that stuff up early and close the sliding doors to make it look like it closed so no one comes in. But its not closed, it open and they don't want to serve you if you walk in at that time. Also be careful, as the morning goes on they pick up your plate even if you are not done. So if you walk away to grab a napkin you may come back to an empty table. Closing early and making guest uncomfortable because of the actions of staff is yet another example of management problems and a careless work culture that is taking place here. || Never...

My experience at this Embassy suites has utterly shattered my long standing preference to not only the Embassy brand, but that of the Hilton super brand as well.

I stay at a hotel between once and twice a month for work. I have stayed at hotels ranging from motel 6's all the way to to Hyatt regencies. This was by far the worst quality room experience I have EVER had.

This only further tracks with some of the other Hilton hotels I've stayed in the past. I'm sure not nearly every Hilton hotel in the nation is as bad as this one in room quality, but I see a clear trend compared to your competitors: a lack of willingness to keep rooms well maintained, cleaned, and regularly updated and refreshed.

I'm sure these rooms were nice circa early 2000's but it has been a long, long time since then.

Notable cringeworthy moments include: Ripped, tattered, stained, STICKY (to the point my socks felt gross after a few minutes walking in the room) carpets. Bathrooms with barely lukewarm water, leaking shower head. Air conditioning that refused to stay on for more than 10 minutes (a power control setting no doubt). Squeaking entrance and closet doors, to the point I felt like a bother to both my neighbors whenever I needed to escape my tired room. Lack of my tiered amenities (gold level Honors member, never received water, which honestly is the least transgression on this list). Being trapped outside for 10 minutes late night due to a malfunctioning main entrance key fob (I apparently was supposed to "run really fast to the door after scanning my room key" to make the system work, according to the front desk agent that finally let me in. Super easy with handfulls of food). Trees in the parking lot that dropped sap all over my car; a problem that has been there for likely years given the stickyness of the road. On the topics of roads, the parking lot has potholes; such massive potholes. Hope you are stocked up on AAA roadside assistance just in case! I could tell the building itself USED TO BE beautiful. It is so sad that it was let to rot on the inside.

The best part of this experience was I had the "privilege" of staying here for over $200 average per night. What a deal! /s

The crew gets a solid 3 star for being awesome and welcoming, but they can only do so much of a great job when the hotel is crumbling down around them.

Such a saddening experience. I used to love your brand Hilton; Embassy,...
