I walked in to the Chick Fil A in Milpitas on Calaveras Boulevard because my drive thru order was missing an order of fries. There was only one person at the counter who was talking to another employee and they ignored my first request for help. After I called out twice, both employees looked at me with disdain and one of them motioned me over with his hand without saying a word. These two employees were a Latino man and woman and as an Asian man, I could feel how racist they were against me by the looks on their faces and how they did not respond to me verbally. Luckily, the floor manager helped out and corrected my order with a complimentary free breakfast item. This experience deeply unsettled me because the way I was treated by the two workers was with contempt and it made me feel like I was sub-human. I hesitate to purchase any food from this location now as I don't know how I will be treated in the future.
Edit: On the day of this event, the chain manager of this location contacted me to get my story after I filed a feedback form on their website. The manager was very polite and apologetic for this happening and even invited me to have a meal with him, which was surprising. This kind of hospitality is very appreciated and I hope that this Chick Fil A trains their employees with this...
Read more0 for customer service. Walked in at 8:34pm (they close at 9pm) ordered a spicy deluxe and 3 tenders. The spicy deluxe was ice cold, and my tenders were oily, the order also came out in literally a minute so it was very obvious it wasn’t fresh. I usually don’t like to bother, but It was literally a $30 meal. I went back and only took the sandwhich only and told the guy it was cold. He said “the thing is we close in 4 minutes.” Confused, I said ok.. but it’s cold. At this point the entire staff was looking at me. And he said “the girl said it’s made to order” I was like you’re gonna convince me that a sandwich you gave me a minute after I ordered that I’m telling you is ice cold is made to order. He then took the sandwich back and came back two minutes later and now it was just oily- they clearly refried the same chicken patty. My husband took it back and the entire staff was just staring at him. He literally said “is it that odd for someone to return a cold oily sandwich they paid money for that now your entire staff is staring at me.” At this point the manager apologized and told us we deserve the highest quality and made a better sandwich. I just don’t understand why there even had to be a back and forth like it’s clearly cold, you know, we know it, just...
Read moreWent there to get an ice cream cone during lunch time for my mom after her chemo therapy. I asked for extra cone(without ice cream) on the side coz mom always enjoys the extra crunchiness. When I pulled up, the “manager” was giving a hard time to the drive through employees how they put in the order wrong and they need to charge extra for the cone because it is considered buying two ice cream cones. The employee was trying to explain how it is just the extra cone without the ice cream. During this time I was sitting in the car with my mom and he for sure knows that I can hear the entire conversation. When the “manager” handed me the order I told him that I can pay for the extra “cone” and he finally quits giving griefs. I have no issue paying for anything extra as long as it makes my mom happy after her chemo treatment, but it wasn’t on the menu and even when I placed the order at the drive through they just told me to pull up and get my order. To Chick fil a’s upper management, if you are reading this, the service quality has gone down in your Milpitas store and you need to take a...
