Went for an Alcohol Inks painting workshop. The shop itself is very cute and cozy with a small town/country feel. Organized disarray that makes exploring more enjoyable, making little discoveries.
The people are so warm and welcoming. The workshops are small so you get good instruction and attention when needed. Instructions are clear and come with an associated demonstration before you try it yourself. We started by testing the ink colors and consistency on a scrap strip so we could know how they would look and react as we used them in our actual paintings.
We painted three pieces altogether. The first one is not as good as the others as we were learning techniques for working with the inks. Once you have that first one under your belt, it becomes easier to blend and manipulate the inks on the next pieces.
