This place was certainly east and it was definitely on the river, and it could probably be classified as a park in some jurisdictions. However, I didn't find it to be particularly flat in any way, shape or form. I was able to mill about, looking at various trees and whatnot, contemplating existence for a moment. But then I noticed the lime e-scooter that had been resurrected from the depths of the Mississippi, to scoot no more (until it's battery was replaced) and i felt a sudden sense of foreboding. Read moreOn THIS SATURDAY, October 18th from 10am-1pm the cooperatives are working with the Mississippi River Fund and the National Park Service to plant Oak trees on the banks of the Mississippi River! We’ll be right next to campus at the East River Flats Park, which is a site that the National Park Service is working to restore the natural habitat. Earlier this year members from several of our cooperatives pulled invasive plants from the park – the Oak trees are their native replacement!

Read moreGreat place to tailgate for a game! Really nice and well kept area. We had plenty of room to setup our tents and chairs, also had room for a full grill to cook up some amazing food. We had the added benefit of the Minneapolis Police being on site all day so we didn't have to worry about our belongings being stolen out of the truck when we were at the game.
