We held our wedding reception here in July and I can tell you - choosing the Campus Club was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! To start, Liz and the entire event staff were easy to work with and so accommodating. Any question I had, they answered within about 24 hours! They worked directly with my vendors to get everything delivered on time. I felt so taken care of, especially as someone who is not an event planner. This venue is gorgeous. We did not spend a dime on decorations, and every guest was shocked when we told them. The views alone - campus, downtown Minneapolis, the Mississippi River, the River Flats - were the best decorations we could have had. Any extra flowers or drapery would have taken away from those beautiful views. Space was also ample - we had 80 guests and it didn't feel crowded or sparse. Guests were able to spend time playing games on the terrace, enjoy the bar, sit in the lounge, or stay in the dining room. It's a very welcoming and comfortable location! The food was INCREDIBLE. We had a plated dinner, so we had a choice of three separate entrées (we got pot roast, lemon chicken, and the spinach mushroom ravioli). Our guests were pleased with both portion sizes and the taste - multiple people told me they wanted to lick their plates clean. Even the after-dinner coffee got compliments! The staff was amazing as well. The dining staff eagerly took care of our needs, the bartenders were delightful and genial, and my day-of coordinator was a pleasure to work with. At the end of the night, some of the staff joined us in singing "Piano Man", and it was a joy to include them! I would pick the Campus Club to host any event again. From the location to the staff to the food, it helped my wedding day be perfect. I would recommend them to anyone, and if you're looking for the perfect spot for your wedding - definitely, you should seriously consider having it here!

The short: Amazing, amazing staff, great food, and great views. The long: We had our wedding here in August 2016. Chef Beth was amazing with our food needs and we had SO MANY compliments on the food, the amazing staff, and the view. One thing that is super great about this place is the membership that comes with a booking for a large event, so you can try different foods every day/week/month if you like. For example, we had passed cheese curds, no joke! And they were amazing!! My now husband and I really got to know the staff, so any anxiety about anyone working at our wedding was gone because I already knew 75% of the people there. I seriously cannot rave enough about the staff. Just amazing, real, kind, generous, thoughtful, smart, speedy (took 20 minutes or so to serve like 250 people in two rooms), AMAZING. Jen and Jane always promptly (within an hour >90% of the time, within a day the rest of the time) reply to emails about any questions, bookings, food requests, etc. They act as amazing liaisons with not only the staff and the kitchen, but also all the vendors we hired. They both know the questions I'm forgetting to ask, and they always acted as if this wedding was going to be super fun for everyone, including the staff! :-) Bonus: there are so many photo ops here - we did pictures against the Ivy wall, obviously the view from the ballroom and the terrace are amazing as well! I cannot recommend the Campus Club enough!

We inquired with 30+ venues around the metro area, toured Campus Club and fell in love with the venue and location instantly. We lucked out with great weather on our wedding day so we were able to have our ceremony out on the terrace with beautiful views of the skyline. The venue is all on one floor, so the bar, reception area, and outdoor terrace are all easily accessible and available to you and guests throughout the whole entire evening. The reception area has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Minneapolis skyline as well. We received many compliments on the venue and views, and we were even told by some guests that the food is the best they've ever had at a wedding. Mollie was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole entire process- very professional, responsive, flexible, and personable. And Denise (the manager) and day of staff were also amazing; they provided exceptional customer service and ensured everything the day of our wedding flowed smoothly. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone! All around a beautiful space and wonderful staff to work with! While these are not professional photos, they do a great job of capturing the breathtaking views (and just how great the food was 😉)

We had our wedding at the Campus Club in early May and we were so happy with it, we wanted to do it all over again. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Campus Club. We worked primarily with Jenn but I think I probably spoke, emailed, or met every person there at some point because they were all so helpful. Jenn was amazing. I probably emailed her nothing short of 100 questions and she answered them quickly and was also so nice and happy to help. She did a great job of sending me updated confirmations when we made changes and she had a lot of insight/suggestions/etc. She truly is a pro at what she does and our wedding day went perfectly because of her planning and help. Sadly she was on vacation the day of our wedding, but everyone that was there that day was so professional, helpful and friendly. We just could not have asked for a better experience in planning on wedding. I've seen it other reviews and it's true- weeks later people have complimented us on the food. How many people even remember what they had as a wedding meal, let alone remember and compliment the couple a month later?? The venue and the food and drink, etc are such big decisions with so many little details. And Jenn made sure we covered each one. The other great thing about this venue is the space itself. We got so many compliments on the amount of space, the amazing view, the variety of places for guests to mingle. Don’t want to dance? Grab a drink at the bar. Too many shots? Get a breath of fresh air on the terrace overlooking downtown. It’s a beautiful venue with an amazing team of people there to make your day everything you wanted and more. I have to stress the ‘and more’- we went back two days after to collect our gifts and things and my handkerchief from my grandma was missing. I thought I left it on the head table but it was not with any of our stuff. What did Jenn and Jane and company do? Put on rubber gloves and actually looked through linen bags and the garbage bin looking for it. I’m embarrassed to tell the story, because the hanky ended up getting tucked into one of our toasting glasses, but they deserve the credit for being the definition of going above and beyond. Thank you to this wonderful staff for a day we will...

We are so pleased that we selected Campus Club for our October wedding. From the first email inquiry we sent to the Campus Club, we were impressed with the diligence, competence, and experience of the staff. The space worked well for us and our guests. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out - the terrace, the dining room, the lounge area, and the bar. We had a variety to guests from kids to my 90 year old grandparents and everyone was comfortable. The views are stunning from every single one of the spaces! We had hoped that our ceremony would be on the terrace but it was unseasonably cold (and snowing) on our wedding day so we ended up having it indoors. We were initially disappointed but it worked out great to have guests sit at the dining tables and was really pretty. The space is nicely finished and requires very little decor to look pretty for a wedding - we only did centerpieces and cafe lighting and it looked great! This saved us a bunch of money too. The food was excellent and all of our guests’ dietary limitations were accommodated. Leading up to our wedding, we worked mostly with Jenn who is very organized and responsive and takes care of all the details we hadn’t thought of. She responded to every one of our (million) questions right away. On the day of our wedding, the managers and staff made everything run absolutely perfectly. These people really know what they’re doing. We couldn’t be happier about our wedding day. Thanks...
