Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Visiting dental clinic with my elderly mother. Stopped at Caribou in building. Rarely have rcvd such rude service. Person at register said little, but woman (maybe supervising) was very rude. Set sandwich, chips, soda, etc. Supv said “scan the bar codes” to me. I was looking for where to do that while being stared down…felt hostile. I said”Do you happen to have any salt?” Response was “No!” Again super rude tone. I ask the person at register if this was a self service or just a sanitary way of customers ckg themselves out? She said “No, not sure why.”. She was fine, but the “supervisor” person was just glaring the entire time. No thank you, nothing. It was so unpleasant, I am writing a review, which...

It's the 'bou so you know what you get. My taste draws me more toward the locally owned haunts that labor over their love to create food and drink. Son wanted a egg sandwich on a bagel and an iced hazelnut coffee. The sandwich was decent but the iced coffee tasted too sweet (syrupy). This will learn him... it pays to find a local roaster/brew shop that pains over their devotion to creating deliciousness. No disrespect to Caribou or Einstein Bagels, it's a known commodity when you need a little caffeine pick me up. But if you're looking for love in the form of a caffeinated beverage or a bagel that reminds you of a Jewish shop in NY......
