I would give a zero rating if it were possible. We were charged $70 for a pickup which was not communicated to us when arranging to recycle our equipment nor was it listed anywhere on their website. Website only states that a $35 pickup fee would be charged unless we have (5) or more PC's to recycle then the fee would be waived which we did. When communicating this to the company their response was not that they were sorry about the miscommunication which would have been an acceptable response to us but their response was that their pickup driver actually didn't charge enough and they added on more cost. We will not do business with this company again.
Edit to owners response: You totally missed the context of the review. It was not the delivery pickup charge cost that was the big issue it was the communication of that charge when we arranged the pickup. Had we known about that charge prior to arranging pick up we would have dropped off the equipment ourselves. Secondly your companies poor customer service skills, a simple I'm sorry for the miscommunication on charges would have been enough and this review wouldn't have been necessary but you made it worse by responding we didn't charge you enough lets add on more charges. By the way I did check out your competitors and quite a few of them do offer no cost pickup. Next time I will do more research before choosing a company. Thanks for the heads up on checking out your competitors I found a new go to...
Read moreIf you have electronics that no longer work, and you’re wondering what to do responsibly without heading to the landfill check out this place. This includes small kitchen, appliances, and large screen, TVs, as well as the usual, printers, cables, DVD, players and speakers I had a digital bathroom scale, which had corroded and found this place right in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. It was easy to get to, but easy to miss, hidden behind a small windowless door in a brick wall. But inside there,a hard-working crew is taking apart electronics and saving what could be saved. It was a two dollar fee for little things. It was worth it to make me feel better about keeping it out of the landfill. Thanks for taking the things that nobody else is...
Read moreStaff here were a blessing to me today. I've had a broken space heater in my vehicle for weeks and finally decided to attempt to get rid of it today. Repowered declined taking it because their worker stated he thought it had oil in it. So I brought it to this place, and I asked for them to look at it and give me their professional opinion. Upon inspection, their staff stated it was electronic and didn't have oil, and allowed for the drop off. It really was a relief to finally get the item out of my vehicle and out of life! I was also very thankful the staff were willing to look it over before turning me away like the...
