Floyd's 99 Barbershop - Edina — Attraction in Minneapolis

It is so funny to me that now that I am reading reviews, people are having a great experience with Darry. My son has been having his cut at Floyd’s for over a year now. Typically, at north loop but we started going to Edina for convenience. Cut was terrible and not fixable be he cut into the hairline for one side burn and didn’t blend the top with the sides. When I asked him about it, he said I can chop the other one shorter, this is the way I do boys sideburns. Made me think that because it’s a boy and not a men’s cut, he doesn’t take it seriously? Anyway, I called the north loop store twice, once on Sunday and once yesterday to ask for a call back from the manager. Still have yet to get a call back. I hate giving one star because all other experiences have been good or great. But I requested customer service and wasn’t provided with it. Pics show one normal side burn and the other hacked into. Got a simple beard trim and came out with an uneven beard and bald spots.

Stylists were sloppy and used buzz cutters instead of scissors on clean up that ended up shaving more of my beard than I wanted. Unable to be fixed since it would require shaving down more hair to compensate the mistake.

Stylist didn’t acknowledge his error and left before I could bring it up as I got waxing done immediately after the beard trim.

Overall be careful when going here be very communicative about what areas you do or do not want to be touched up. They will decide for you and you’ll end up paying the price with a spotty beard and hair.
