To be fair, this was my 1st visit, so only experience. I came looking for a quiet place with WiFi to review and research the medical record of a deceased relative..A nice looking little library. I spent about 90 minutes here this morning. It was very loud. I moved as far away from the children's section as I could get, but found it very hard to concentrate..It was quiet when I first arrived around 9:45 or 10:00 AM. However about ten minutes in I had to move because of the pretty much constant crying and screaming of kids. Not sure what was going on. I have up and.left after an hour or so. The kids section was full of babies and toddler age kids, about 20 that appeared to be with parents, maybe 10 adults. This appeared to be some kind of play time or gathering opportunity for parents to bring their kids to and.play with other kids. It seems to me a place like a park or community center might be a more appropriate setting. Hopefully this was an exception and not the norm. Found it impossible to concentrate.

This library is one of the best in Minneapolis for young kids. The play area is updated monthly with great thematic activities. It is bright and spacious and has an easily accessible parking lot.

This is the third time I've been here. The staff is very nice and helpful. I didn't really enjoy my time there because it's way too loud. It's like trying to study in a daycare. It's not for me. I'm really sensitive to noise and , for the 2 hours I was there, the noise never let up. There were kids screaming, crying, running around and I was very distracted by this. I'm sure it's a great place for kids but when you're trying to accomplish something it not good. What ever happened to inside voices and being aware there are other people there who don't appreciate your children screaming....

We love this neighborhood library. The librarians are super warm and helpful; they have a great system for putting books on hold; and like most libraries in minneapolis, they have a great assortment of free events for kids. Medium sized parking lot and some street parking available. We love the toys! As a parent of young kids, I do wish there was some more division between the children’s section and the rest of the library. My kids aren’t too loud, but I always feel like we are disrupting the adults because it’s such an...
