Idrink Boba & Sandwiches — Restaurant in Minneola

Okay, I try to be as honest as possible so here it is- my first impression of this place was good, but I wasn't impressed by my first drink. The staff and place made me want to change my mind and I'm glad they did.

I tried the honeydew with the crystal boba the first time- it was not what I hoped for. That being said, it might have just not been my taste, I can't hate. By girlfriend had the chocolate and seemed pleased enough. The staff was just so nice, the menu long, and the fact that they explicitly state that they want you to tell them your allergies made me hopeful, as I've recently run into some health issues.

So I tried them again.

This time I got the Strawberry Slush and Crystal Boba- SO much better in my opinion. It was sweet but not fake. Their mini chicken sandwich was light and flavorful, and I even brought a friend because I thought she'd enjoy it. We came way too close to closing and they were as cordial as ever. They didn't have enough strawberry to serve both me and my friend and by the time they finished my drink, they determined that they wouldn't be able to make the second happen. They felt so bad that after changing the order (despite it realistically being our fault) that they gave her free cake! Even if it was just going to get thrown out, it was a kind gesture and the way they went about it was nothing but polite.

Side note for the owners: Some people can't see as well, it might be easier to consolidate some of the flavors if they all cost the same amount, rather than have such a long list with so many tiny letters. And this way you might be able to include the chalk board notes on the menu and use the chalkboard out front! (I swear I'm trying to be helpful, sorry if that's nitpicking)

If you only want milk tea with boba, you won’t be disappointed. The boba is perfectly good and the prices are fair. HOWEVER! Don’t go here for food, service, or atmosphere.

Husband and I went in to give them a try. They have sofas set up with a table, so we brought our laptops in and decided we’d get food and boba. That’s where this places really falls short.

The food is cheap and not the worst, but it’s definitely not the only thing you go here for. The meat is questionable quality and if it’s got sauce it’s drenched and nearly inedible due to how messy and soggy it gets.

The music they played was on loop for the entire 20 minutes it took them to make our food (we were the only people in there). The music was so, so annoying. It was loud and almost sounded like an alarm or something. Within five minutes we looked at eachother to say we had a headache.

When we ordered our food I directly looked at the cashier and said “do you have wifi? We need to work.” He said yes, and gave us the wifi password for the place next door? Barely connects.

To top it all off our food was served to us to go. Taped shut and tied off! so we go the message and left.

TLDR: boba tastes like boba and is good price. Don’t go in and think you’re going to get comfortable and stay awhile, they’re not interested in you being there longer than it takes them to...

We ordered 2 slushies and baos. The baos were very good no complaints there. All employees were very friendly the place was very clean, I appreciated the variety.

However the slushies left much to be desired. They were more of a milkshake consistency than slush there was waaaaaaaayyy too much milk involved. It's not what you think of when you say slush.

I love boba, have had it very many places and this has to be the weirdest combination I've ever had. It was way too creamy and heavy versus being light and refreshing.

However I cannot have caffeine and have too much lactose so slushies/smoothies are my only option for boba and having recently moved to the area and no longer near my fav boba place (Face Tea in Lake Mary). I was hoping this would be the answer, but I'm afraid it is not. We ended up throwing away 3/4 of our drinks they were just not what we were expecting at all. I'll give this place another shot in the future and figure out a way to explain I don't want it to be a milkshake or just cut the milk in general, I'll...
