Wow! Donuts that are so good, you won't want any other. Did you miss getting donuts from Walt Disney World, look no further, the Donut King is the supplier for the donuts found in the Magical Lands and Resorts of Central Florida at a fraction of the cost. Doughnuts are so fresh and soft, you will not find better...while being sold to the most magical place on earth, if your magic runs out before your donuts do, we found that they will keep ok in zipper bags. We got 6 doughnuts and 3 specialty pastries. We just ate the last of them today and with them in Ziplocs, they were still as fresh and soft as the day we bought them a week ago. When we arrived, there was only one family in front of us, within minutes, five more families showed up and the place was packed. And even though we arrived mid afternoon, they still had plenty in stock for us to choose from. Katie working behind the register did a great job telling us about the doughnuts and even posed with the biggest doughnut I have ever seen. She was a big help in assisting us in choosing the best doughnuts. The price was great! Definitely planning to stop by here when traveling to and from Orlando. I love chocolate so I got their Boston Cream, Chocolate Oreo, and Chocolate Sprinkles doughnuts, I enjoyed the donuts so much and wanted more. My wife loves cream and apple filled doughnuts, and cake doughnuts. So she got one of each, one cream filled doughnut, one apple filled doughnut, and one cake doughnut. Then we got 3 specialty pastries which were gigantic in size. Blueberry filled giant triangle, giant Boston Cream Log, and a giant bear claw log. Everything tasted great. Another amazing highlight, this place is open 24/7, so regardless if you got a late start going to Orlando or you close down the parks during their extra long nights, this place will be open to serve fresh donuts and don't forget to get milk too. I love this place. And I really can't say why. It's not the sparkling new and clean place like a dunkin/krispy/gourmet it's an old, tiny hole in the wall- more like the small town family run shop everyone knows in a movie. Hidden on the right side of the entrance are 2 tables seating 4 each. They do both breakfast sandwiches and hot lunch items. There are 2 drink coolers with juice, milk and Starbucks fraps. Of course then there is the sugar. HUGE selection of donuts from classic glazed➡ stufted ➡ even topped in fruity pebbles if you're brave on under 10 lol. The "King Donut" is close to the size of your head, bow ties more like adult shoe sized. The apple fritters are bigger than a pizza hut personal pizza!!! So come ready to share. There are a few pastries too. Open 24 hrs and they do business 24hrs. Had a whim on a Sat night, wow busy. I've been told by locals they've seen a line out the door. So people really love their stuff! Call ahead, they'll put your order together and have it ready when you get there. They take pre orders too so dont be shy, donuts can be better than bday cakes! King Donuts are made in limited numbers so when that's the answer, I recommend calling and checking for the specific one you want first. Driving North on 27 you'll have to make a U turn, going south, you'll see a giant green road sign for Washington Ave in their parking lot, a tint...

UNFORTUNATE UPDATE as of 4/27/24 What the heck has happened to my once beloved Donut King??? As seen below, I went so far as mention the employees by name..they were so good. NOW, I seriously contemplate whether or not to go in there anymore. These new kids (in the evenings) in there are absolutely awful. I cannot be the only one that has had to deal with the rude, nonchalant attitudes. What a shame. This store has done a complete 180, simply due to the new(er) staff. I hope this gets addressed and we can have our pleasant, helpful and kind staff back…please.

First-timer at Donut King. After all the good things I’d heard, I had to give them a try for myself. I have to say that I thought the selection would be dwindling by around 7:00 p.m., therefore the difficulty in choosing would be minimal…nope. I was overwhelmed by the selection of fresh donuts. (Very impressive) I finally made my choices and while doing so had a great time chatting with employees Blake & Mikayla. Each donut was fresh and delicious with amazing personal customer service. What an incredible overall experience and I would highly recommend to anyone that hasn’t tried for yourself. Thank you! Already looking forward to my next...
