This is a sweet little spot in Minneola. The pros: jerk chicken is grilled with a nice char & flavorful. U can get it as mild or spicy as u like by either requesting it spicier than served or adding sauce on the side. It's flavorful jerk, but not really sweet (I'd call it a tad on the salty side myself & would've appreciated a hint of sweetness to round out the flavors, but it's still good). We ordered it with rice & peas (they're actually kidney beans, but I prefer pigeon peas, though), a side of cabbage (nicely cooked with crunch & nice flavor) & fried plantains (actually fried to order). I do wish the plantains were darker on the outside, which brings out the sweetness, but I appreciate they were cooked steaming hot to order. The guy at the counter (I'm not good with names) was extremely kind, friendly & helpful. The cons: there aren't many but, as mentioned, I wish the plantains were caramelized on the outside to bring out the sweetness, the jerk chicken (the sauce) had a bit of sweetness to round out the flavors, and the rice & peas was made with pigeon peas (but it's good anyway, honestly). In summary, my "complaints" are small nitpicks bc the overall meal was good. My only other rec is be sure to specify which size meal you'd like, otherwise you get charged for a large, and based on portion sizes of other Jamaican establishments, I don't think what I paid for was a large. Chef is a very nice guy, who tries to accommodate any special requests, which is appreciated. Go eat here bc it's way better than that place in Winter Garden. And, by all means, try the fish soup bc it's better than you could imagine! =) Sorry I forgot to get pics...

Lots of flavor and delicious food! The Oxtail is soooooo good!!! The Tostones with coconut curry salt fish is yummy! The Salt Fish Fritters has quickly become my favorite! And the Sweet & Sticky Wings were huge and sauce just right. Also ordered the Yard Man Alfredo with jerk chicken. It has a nice kick to it. Yum yum yum!!! We got the rice and peas to mix in with the sauces from dinners. The Mac n' cheese and the mashed potatoes were ok. Not bad but not memorable either....but hey, you can't go wrong with pasta, cheese and potatoes! Lots of food! We ordered enough for 3 nights worth of dinner.

There are other dishes we want to try out next time. They have some delicious sounding food in their menu.

Staff is very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Definitely...

I came across this restaurant on UberEats. I saw they had a pasta dish with mixed vegetables. I called and spoke with Andrew and informed him that I was vegan and needed the dish to be tweaked a bit. Can I tell you he went above my expectations! This meal had callaloo, pumpkin, carrots and several other vegetables in it with a creamy coconut sauce! Delicious. My best friend felt for some pumpkin rice and they so happened to have it! She said her meal was delicious also. I will be ordering from or pop by to purchase food and will be recommending this restaurant. It’s a Jamaican style restaurant but with a twist. Thanks again chef Andrew I have a few dietary restrictions and you stepped up to the plate! Oh btw the plantains were amazing not greasy just...

A great place for Jamaican food. Did not even know the restaurant was there; I think it opened about a year ago. It’s a very, very local little restaurant, nothing fancy, just outstanding Jamaican food, nice casual atmosphere, reasonable prices, and wonderful owners. We sat outside on the back deck, listening to reggae, and kicking back. The food came out very quickly and was piping hot. The barbecued whole snapper was outstanding! My sons sweet and sticky chicken wings were crispy and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of sauce. The jerk chicken was good, but not spicy at all—my fault for not requesting very spicy. Looking forward to going back again soon.

First time trying this spot, the young lady at the cash register was nice and friendly. We ordered a large curry goat with veggie mix white rice and small brown stew chicken with rice and peas. The large curry goat ended up having the wrong rice, and small amount of curry goat and rice for a large plate. The brown stew chicken plate was on point. What kind of save the night is the food had that good authentic Jamaican flavor and grapenut ice cream which was perfect. I will try them again to see if the curry goat dish was just a mistake. Also I will have to try them again before I make any decision giving recommendations to family and friends
