Miramar Town Center — Attraction in Miramar

I have been here I’ve been to this location dozens of times. One of the parking spots had a sign that said “Motorcycles Only,” but I didn’t notice it because it was hidden behind large pipes in the garage. I was also driving a tall van, so I couldn’t access the upper levels, and all other spots were taken—likely by gym members since it was packed on a Thursday evening. The outside parking area was marked “15-minute parking only.”

When I returned, I found a boot on my vehicle and a fee notice stuck to my window. The notice had no company name or licensing number—just a QR code to scan and pay, which felt like a scam. The on-site security company, CVS Security Group, said the boot was placed by a separate company. The security guard claimed he only had a key to remove the boot to help people leave faster but couldn’t tell me who actually booted the vehicle, only that they were “hours away.”

If the booting company is supposedly hours away, how and when was my vehicle booted? I had only been inside for about an hour eating pizza. It honestly felt like the security guard might be involved and benefiting from these fees. After being pressured to scan the QR code and pay, the boot was removed.

Very nice city call in Miramar. Building looks amazing. Service for getting your passport isn’t the best though. Website specifically states employees will be unavailable and on lunch from 1-2. Yet I show up at 12:15 to apply and yet everyone is on lunch untill 1:45? That doesn’t add up. I appreciate the service to the public by providing walk ins. But having to wait an 1:30 and half is for a passport...
